Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly join concrete segments together by a method wherein a female metal fixture composed of a base board having a chevroned projection and a cylindrical circumferential wall is embedded in the ring joining end of the concrete segment at one side and a male metal fixture having an incision at its front end is provided in projection at the joining end at the other side. SOLUTION: A female metal fixture 1 composed of a base board 2 having a chevroned projection 3 at its surface, an external cylinder 4 and an internal cylinder 5 is embedded in a segment A. A stemlike male metal fixture 10 having an incision 13 at the front end of the main body 11 thereof with its front end projecting beyond the ring joining face is provided in projection at the segment B. With the front end of the male metal fixture 10 of the segment B fitted to a position of the opening 6 of the segment A, the segment B is driven forward. Then, the chevroned projection 3 of the female metal fixture 1 is thrust into the incision 13 at the front end of the male metal fixture 10, and the front end of the male metal fixture 10 is expanded and fitted into an extended part 8 of the bore of the female metal fixture 1. Thereby, ring joining faces are joined firmly only with a thrust given by a thrusting jack, and efficiency can be improved in executing works.

2. Description of the Related Art In the tunnel shield construction method, the method of assembling concrete segments is widely adopted as the primary lining on the inner surface of the tunnel.
It goes without saying that this concrete segment needs to be assembled sufficiently strong to withstand the collapse of the ground, and that it is desirable that it be easy to assemble. As a result of studying from the viewpoints of both strong assembly and ease of assembly, various joints for concrete segments have been proposed. The most common joint method is the bolt and nut tightening method.
Although it is used for joining any ring joint surface, this method does not necessarily have good workability and requires a work notch for tightening bolts and nuts. A chuck pin method has been proposed for the surface.

In joining the ring joint surfaces of the segment having the joint structure of the present invention, the tip of the male metal object protruding from the ring joint surface of the other segment and the ring joint end portion of one segment It suffices to align the position with the opening of the female metal object buried in and to propel the segment ring of the other segment with the propulsion jack, and no special work is required for joining the ring joint surfaces. That is, the male hardware is inserted into the female hardware by the propulsive force applied to the segment ring, and the notch at the tip of the male hardware is expanded to the chevron protrusion of the female metal bottom plate and the propulsive force applied to the segment ring. Will be distributed even in the right-angled direction and will be firmly joined to both segment rings.

A segment A, which is one concrete segment, is embedded with a female metal piece 1 via an anchor bar (not shown). The female metal piece 1 includes a bottom plate 2, an outer cylinder 4 and an inner cylinder 5. Consists of a chevron protrusion 3 on the surface of the bottom plate 2.
Is provided, and the tip of the inner cylinder 5 is opened at the opening 6 on the ring joint surface of the segment A. The inner diameter of the outer cylinder 4 is substantially equal to the outer diameter of the inner cylinder 5, and the bottom portion of the outer cylinder 4 (the portion where the inner cylinder 5 does not exist)
Form an enlarged inner diameter portion 8. A bar-shaped male metal piece 10 is embedded in another segment B, which is the other concrete segment, via an anchor bar 12, and the tip end thereof projects from the ring joint surface. Male hardware 10 is the main body 1
1 has a notch 13 at the tip.

The tips of the male members 10 of the segment B of the new segment ring are aligned with the positions of the openings 6 of the female member 1 of the segment A of the existing segment ring, and the segment B is moved to the segment A side. Promote. As it is propelled, the chevron protrusions 3 of the female hardware 1 bite into the notches 13 at the tips of the male hardware 10, and the tips of the male hardware 10 are pushed out and fitted into the inner diameter enlarged portion 8 of the female hardware 1. . The ring joint surfaces of the segment A and the segment B are joined only by this normal propulsion operation. The above description has been made on the example in which the female metal piece 1 is embedded in the existing segment ring side and the male metal piece 10 is embedded in the new segment ring side. On the contrary, the male metal piece 10 is embedded in the existing segment ring side. However, even if the female metal piece 1 is buried in the newly installed segment ring side, they are joined by the same operation. The female metal piece 1 may be assembled by welding or adhering each steel material as shown in the figure, but it is convenient to integrally cast it as a casting.

In the joint structure of the present invention, it is required that the positions of a large number of male and female metal fittings on the ring joint surface of the segment are all the same. However, the burying position of the metal piece is accompanied by a manufacturing error, and the burying position of the metal piece may be changed even after the manufacture due to a bending deformation during assembly. To cope with this, manufacturing the female metal piece in a shape capable of absorbing an error results in a complicated structure of the metal article, which is contrary to the object of the present invention.
