Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cause all areas of unit sections to emit light friendly and softly by making unit sections constituting an umbrella out of transparent members, introducing light into part of the unit sections, and allowing the introduced light to be transmitted and diffused in the members. SOLUTION: A support 4A is made out of a faithful transparent member and a ferrule 2A made out of a transparent member is fixed to the tip of the support 4A. The transparent member is made, for example, of a synthetic resin, such as an epoxy, or silica glass. A grip 5 is threaded into a lower part of the support 4A and is provided with a lamp 7 comprising a miniature bulb, two size-N dry cells 8 detachably connected in series, and an opening/closing switch section 5e that are connected to form a circuit. The opening/closing operation of the opening/closing switch section 53 causes the lamp 7 to be turned on/off. By pressing the opening/closing switch section 5e by one's thumb, the lamp 7 is turned on and its light goes into the support 4A wherein it is reflected, transmitted, and dispersed repeatedly to cause all the area of the support 4A to emit light brightly.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, various types of light bulbs and flashlights have been proposed in the part of an umbrella. Some of them make people's eyes gaze and call attention by lighting in the night rain. Although several applications have been filed, the fact is that none of the configurations have been commercialized yet. Based on this actual situation, the present inventor actually tried a trial manufacture and a trial experiment,
It has been found that the conventionally known configuration has the following problems in production or safety. 1) A light bulb is provided on a stone stake to illuminate it. As this configuration, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 62-200925 and Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-213318 are proposed. In both cases, a miniature light bulb is provided on the stone butt, and the light is turned on by turning on / off the open / close switch provided on the grip (or the hand portion). However, in this structure, at least one lead wire has to be wired and connected in the column between the pebbles and the grip (or the hand portion). In this process, wiring is performed after wiring in the support column, and therefore, it is not possible to produce unless components are connected by wiring or a connector during assembly. For this reason, the production process requires a considerable manufacturing cost for connecting or connecting after wiring and the component cost thereof. Moreover, in practice, the umbrella is easily handled roughly, and it is easy to cause connection failure, disconnection, or the like of the connected or connected portions. Furthermore, the miniature light bulb provided on the stone stake that is most likely to be impacted at the tip of the umbrella also has a practical problem that it is easily damaged. 2) A light bulb provided with a miniature light bulb or a flashlight on the grip to make it illuminate. As this configuration, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 2-127206, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 2-147025, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 3-57403, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 7-88006, etc. Has been proposed,
With this configuration, there is no need to wire or connect the lead wires as described above, and since only the grip part can be manufactured separately and can be retrofitted, it is very easy to produce, and compared to the above configuration. The cost can be reduced. However, even this configuration has the following problems in practice. 2-1) A miniature light bulb or flashlight is provided in the handgrip to illuminate the light source downward (at the feet).
Since m is distant, and the reflected light of the illuminated light is too weak, it is difficult for a third person (especially a driver of a car or a person who is far away) to pay attention. In addition, the person under the umbrella is also illuminated (below)
I tend to pay attention to and tend to be inattentive to the front. 2-2) A light bulb or a flashlight is provided on the grip to illuminate the light source toward the front. With this configuration, a flashlight is provided on the grip so as to be rotatable,
Some illuminate the light source downward or forward. Here, when illuminating downward, the above-mentioned problems still exist, and when illuminating forward, the following actually occurs. For people with an umbrella pointing the light source forward, it will be brighter and easier to see, but from the perspective of the person in front, if the light source of the lamp is directly visible in the dark, it will be dazzling and dazzling. The object disappears at all. For this reason, it is actually invisible and very dangerous. This means that when the headlights of a car are turned up, the same phenomenon occurs that people who are in front of the car cannot see them at all. In addition, since the light source that emits light is a point, the light source tends to be obscured by a part of the body. Therefore, as described above, there is a problem that it is difficult to implement in each conventionally known configuration,
The current situation is that it has not yet been commercialized.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention is to be solved by the present inventor based on the results of an actual trial production. The problems to be solved are 1) turn on / off the lamp In the configuration, it is to eliminate the wiring or connection of the lead wire so as to make it the configuration with the lowest production cost, and 2) to make the shining parts shine not by the points as in the past but by the unit parts forming the umbrella. Then, the light emitting area is widened so that the shining portion is not blocked by the body as much as possible, and it is easy to put it in the visual field so that it can be gazed at easily. 3) It is also necessary to make the light source difficult to be directly directly looked at so that the light emitting portion emits light with a soft and gentle light so as not to adversely affect the viewer (dimming, fatigue, tension, etc.).

[Means for Solving the Problems] By forming a unit site forming an umbrella by a light-transmissive member, light is incident on one site of the unit site, and the incident light is transmitted and diffused within the member. , The entire unit area is made to emit soft light. This principle is shown in FIG. 13, and FIG. 13 (a) shows the principle that light is incident on the end face of the translucent member and the incident light is transmitted and diffused. The incident light is repeatedly reflected and transmitted on the inner surface of the member, and the light once reflected is further reflected and transmitted. As a result, the entire area of the member appears to emit light due to the light that has been transmitted and diffused. In FIG. 13B, light is incident from the side surface of the translucent member, and similarly, light can be transmitted and diffused in the member to illuminate the entire area. In both cases, the light emitted by the entire member is
It can be seen with a soft light, which is very gentle compared to the light directly looking at the light source. Further, when the translucent member is made of a member containing a fluorescent pigment and is made to emit light by mixing colors such as red, blue, green, yellow, and pink, it is possible to make the light visible to the eyes with soft light.

An embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings. First, the basic structure of the conventional umbrella will be described with reference to FIG. 4. A stud 2 is screwed or fitted onto the upper end of the support column 4, and an upper wheel 6 is fitted and fixed to the lower column of the support wheel. One end of eight ribs 3, 3 ... 3 is pivotally supported on the side wall of 6 and can be opened and closed in each radial direction. The toes 12 are fitted to the tips of the ribs 3, 3 ,. A circular hole in the central portion of a circular sheet 9 (not shown) is passed through from the upper end of the support column 4 and fixed to fix the sheet 9
The peripheral edges of the seats 9 are fixed by being tied with the threads passed through the through holes of the eight toes 2, 2, ... ··· It has been unveiled on 3. The lower wheel 13 and the central portion of each rib 3 interpose a skeleton 14 axially connected to each other, so that the ribs 3, 3, ... 3 can be opened and closed in a radial direction in conjunction with the vertical movement of the lower wheel 13. It has become. FIG. 1 shows a first embodiment of the present invention, which is applied to a normal openable umbrella. 1A is a front cross-sectional view of the entire umbrella 1 opened, and FIG.
(B) is a longitudinal sectional view of the grip 5. In FIG. 1 (a), the pillar 4 is formed of a solid translucent member to form the pillar 4A,
The tip 2 is formed by a tip 2A made of a translucent member and fixed to the tip. Here, as the translucent member, epoxy, acrylic, polycarbonate, hard vinyl chloride,
It may be made of synthetic resin such as polyethylene or polystyrene, quartz glass, multi-component glass, or the like. A grip 5 is screwed on the lower part of the pillar 4A, and a lamp 7 made of a miniature light bulb, a series of two detachable AA dry batteries 8 and an open / close switch section 5e are connected to the grip 5 by a circuit connection. The lamp 7 is turned on / off by opening / closing the opening / closing switch 5e. Here, the configuration of the grip 5 will be described in more detail with reference to FIG. The grip 5 is formed of a cylindrical resin, the upper part of the inner wall surface is threaded, and the concentric ring-shaped step part 5b protrudes from the lower part. Then, above the step portion 5b, it is screwed and fixed to the portion threaded on the lower surface of the support column 4A. The socket terminal 5c to which the lamp 7 is screwed is connected to the inner peripheral surface of the step portion 5b, and the socket terminal 5c is brought into contact with the + polarity side connecting electrode 5d to make contact between the + polarity side and the −polarity side. Both electrodes of the connection electrodes 5d and 5d are molded and embedded in resin as shown in the figure. Both ends of both electrodes are exposed, and an opening / closing switch section 5e is provided for opening and closing by contacting / separating the electrodes. Open / close switch section 5e
Can be configured by a button opening / closing operation in which one flexible connection electrode 5d is pressed to or released from the other connection electrode 5d. Next, below the step portion 5b, there are two AA batteries 8
A cap 5a is provided, which forms a space in which the grip 5 can be loosely fitted, and which is screwed into the opening at the lower end of the grip 5 to provide a lid. With the two dry batteries 8 inserted in series, the positive electrode of the upper dry battery 8 directly contacts the terminal portion of the lamp 7. A spiral electrode is provided on the upper surface of the cap 5a so that the negative electrode contact electrode 5d and the cap 5a are brought into contact with each other when the cap 5a is screwed and covered. With such a configuration, the lamp 7 can be replaced and replaced when the support 4A is removed from the grip 5.
Also, with this configuration, there is no lead wire wiring and connection,
Since the manufacturing is very simple, and only the grip 5 can be manufactured separately and screwed to the support 4A for assembly, the manufacturing cost at the time of assembly can be made very low. In this embodiment, the contact electrodes 5d and 5d are actually used by pressing the open / close switch 5e with a thumb.
Are brought into contact with each other to close the circuit, and the lamp 7 is turned on. Then, the light enters the column 4A, and
As described based on (a), the light repeats reflection and transmission diffusion within the support 4A, and the entire support 4A is brightly emitted. Then, the light reaches the upper end of the support column 4A, is incident on the stake 2A fixed to the tip of the support column 4A, and similarly, reflection and transmission diffusion can be repeated within the stake 2A to emit light. The light emitted from the pillar 4A and the ridge 2A is light that is repeatedly reflected and diffused in the translucent member,
Especially in the dark, it can be seen with a soft light, it does not have a dazzling effect and it does not tire you. If you press your thumb here periodically, the lamp 7 will blink,
And the pebbles 2A can also flash at the same time to make them glow,
You can draw more attention to others. The battery 8 may be inserted not only through the opening at the lower end of the grip 5 but also on the side surface of the grip 5 by providing a lid that can be opened / closed in a sliding manner or a lid that is opened / closed in a door manner. .
FIG. 2 shows an embodiment in which the light emitted from the lamp 7 is not diffused and attenuated as much as possible but is incident on the support 4A, and the upper peripheral edge of the socket terminal 5c supporting the lamp 7 is parabolic shaped. It is composed of a mirror 5f. With this configuration, the light emitted from the lamp 7 in the lateral direction is reflected by the reflecting mirror 5f, and all its optical paths go straight within the support column 4A. As a result, the light from the lamp 7 can be collected as much as possible, incident on the column 4A, and transmitted and diffused. As another embodiment, a lens for condensing emitted light in a narrow directivity may be provided in front of the lamp 7 or in the lamp 7 itself. With such a configuration, the light emitted from the lamp 7 can be efficiently incident on the pillar 4A.
The structure of the support column 4A and the ridge 2A may be integrally formed as shown in FIG. 9 (a). With this configuration, the amount of light transmitted to the pebbles 2A increases, and the pebbles 2A can be made to shine brighter. In addition, as the structure of the solid support column 4A made of a light-transmissive member, there are air bubbles scattered in the support column 4A made of a transparent body, powder or granules that glitter and reflect, and color patterns, etc. May be mixed, and the surface of the pillar 4A may be formed in an uneven shape. With such a structure, light is diffusely reflected and transmitted in various ways within the support column 4A, so that the light can be emitted very beautifully. FIG. 3 shows a second embodiment of the present invention, in which the grip 5 is composed of a grip 5A which is a casing of a translucent member. The lamp 7 is composed of a red LED as a light source, and a limiting resistor R is connected in the circuit for lighting it. With this configuration, the light emitted from the side surface of the red LED is incident on the inner side surface of the adjacent grip 5A, and as shown in FIG. 13 (b), reflection and transmission diffusion are repeated in the housing, and as a result, the entire area of the housing is covered. Can emit red light. Since the LED is not semi-permanently cut off, the entire LED may be completely molded in the housing. With this structure, light can be diffused and shined more efficiently in the housing. FIG.
The butt 2A, the pillar 4A, and the grip 5A are formed of a light-transmissive member so that the respective parts emit light at the same time. Even if the light source lamp 7 is squeezed with the hand, the light is emitted from each of the above-mentioned parts, and the light is emitted from a wide part, so that it is difficult to hide and gaze easily. Here, as before, LE
The lamp 7 configured by D may be molded in the column 4A. FIG. 5 shows a third embodiment of the present invention in which light is transmitted by the optical fiber 15 to illuminate each part.
In FIG. 5 (a), the supporting column 4 is formed by forming a hollow supporting column 4A made of a light-transmissive member, and an optical fiber is provided in the openings 4a, 6a provided in the supporting column 4A and the upper wheel 6 as shown in the hollow. An appropriate number of 15 are passed through, one end surface of which is fixed to face the lamp 7 and the other end of which is attached to the rib 3 and passed through the inside of the toe 12A made of a translucent member.
The toe 12A is configured to be illuminated by the light that has entered and transmitted through the lens 5. With this configuration, the column 4A
The butt 2A and the toe 12A can be made to emit light at the same time, and since the region over the entire umbrella is made to shine, it becomes easier to gaze. It can also be very aesthetic. Here, the structure of the support column 4A is constructed by embedding the body of the optical fiber 15 in the support column 4A without any gap,
The optical fiber 15 may be embedded so that the end surface of the optical fiber 15 is exposed toward the lamp 7. With such a configuration, the strength of the column 4A can be increased, the number of assembling steps can be reduced, and the assembling can be facilitated. Here, for example, the eight optical fibers 15 may be configured with eight fluorescent colors, and the eight bundled fibers may be twisted in a spiral shape and embedded in the support column 4A. By doing so, each optical fiber 15 can be illuminated in eight colors. FIG. 5B shows a solid support column 4A.
A downwardly-directed sneak hole 4b is formed, one end of an optical fiber 15 having a diameter that fits the sneak hole 4b is fitted, and the other end is attached to the rib 3 in the same manner as the configuration of FIG. 5 (a). Then, the toe tip 12A is made to shine by the light emitted from the end face. When the light from the lamp 7 is condensed in a narrow directivity, a large amount of light is transmitted upward in the column 4A. Therefore, light is incident on the end face of the optical fiber 15 which is fitted to face the lamp 7, and the toe 12A can be illuminated by the light. Optical fiber 1
The optical connection with the support 4A on the end surface of 5 is shown in FIG.
As shown in (c), the upper end surface of the support column 4A is brought close to or in contact with the upper end surface or the side surface of the support column 4A.
Either b may be formed and fitted, or the joint portion may be fixed with an epoxy adhesive. FIG. 6 shows a fourth embodiment of the present invention, in which an optical fiber 15 is interposed to illuminate the main bone 3. One end of the optical fiber 15 is fixed to the column 4A in the configuration shown in FIGS. 5A, 5B and 5C of the above embodiment, and the other end thereof is a translucent member as shown in FIG. 6A. At the end of the rib 3A formed by
Is provided and fitted into the sneak hole 3a. With this configuration, the light emitted from the end face of the other end can enter the rib 3A and be transmitted, diffused, and made to shine. In addition, rib 3
If A is composed of an appropriate fluorescent color, it will be easier to see. Here, as the configuration of the rib 3A, the optical fiber 15
May be molded to the most distal end of the rib 3A, and in order to have strength, a metal column is internally provided in the rib 3A, or the entire rib 3 made of metal is molded with a translucent member. The ribs 3A may be formed. FIG.
(B) shows the entire configuration of the present embodiment, and the column 4A, the ridge 2A, and the rib 3A can be illuminated simultaneously by this configuration. FIG. 7 shows Embodiment 5 of the present invention. FIG. 7 (a) shows an ordinary umbrella, and only a butt 2A made of a translucent member provided on the upper end of a hollow pillar 4 made of iron or aluminum. It emits light. The light passing through the pillar 4 does not leak to the outside and is diffusely reflected on the inner surface, so that the pebbles 2A can be made to shine to some extent by the light, but in order to reduce the attenuation in the pillar 4, the inside of the pillar 4 is plated. It may be processed or may be mirror-finished. FIG. 7B shows a folding umbrella. As the structure of the folding umbrella 1, the support column 4 is configured such that the upper support column 4-1 and the lower support column 4-2 are fitted to each other and slide vertically. With the configuration of the present embodiment, even if the upper strut 4-1 is slid to be housed in the lower strut 4-2, the light transmitted to the foot 2A is not blocked at all. It can also be used for folding umbrellas. FIG. 8 shows Embodiment 6 of the present invention. In this structure, the lower part of the step 5b of the grip 5 is formed to be hollow, and the grip 5
A vertical groove 5g is formed vertically on the side surface of the grip from the lower end to the top, and a cap 5a screwed into the lower opening of the grip 5 is provided. The penlight 10 which is separate from the umbrella 1 is loosely fitted in the hollow space formed in the grip 5 so that the penlight 10 can be inserted and removed. When storing the penlight 10 in the handle 5, the operation switch portion 10a is inserted into the vertical groove 5g by sliding and fitting. In this state, grip 5 with cap 5a.
Is screwed into the opening, and the lid is closed, so that the penlight 10 is kept in the grip 5 and the operation switch unit 10a
Can be opened and closed, and in this state, the operation of turning on / off the lamp 7 can be performed. Here, as the penlight 10,
Anything that can be carried, including a so-called flashlight, and can be fitted in the hollow space may be used. Alternatively, the operation switch unit 10a of the penlight 10 may be provided on the bottom surface thereof, and an opening may be provided on the cap 5a so that the operation can be performed when the penlight 10 is mounted. Further, the cab 5a may not be specially provided, and the housing of the penlight 10 may be fixed in the hollow space by fitting, screwing, or another method. The configuration of the sixth embodiment has the following advantages in production. The production of both a general umbrella that does not aim to emit light and a light-emitting umbrella that aims to emit light can be produced with a mutually common design structure.
That is, by making the grip 5 have a hollow structure as in this embodiment, an ordinary umbrella which is not intended to emit light is also produced with this structure, and in the case of a luminous umbrella, a separate penlight 10 is used.
It is possible to make a luminous umbrella at any time by fitting.
In this way, both general umbrellas and luminous umbrellas can be easily produced according to demand, and by producing with a common design structure,
The component parts and the production process can be shared, and the production cost can be minimized. In addition, a separate penlight 10 can also be configured to be fitted by adopting a ready-made product as it is, and with such a configuration, it is possible to further reduce production cost and product cost. Furthermore, in actual use, hold the penlight 10 as needed and
It is possible to take out from the inside and, for example, while holding the grip 5 of the umbrella 1 with the left hand, freely illuminate with the penlight 10 with the right hand. If a flashlight is fixedly attached to the grip as in the known example, it is an operation while holding an umbrella even if you want to change the direction, and in reality, you can illuminate in that direction. Is difficult FIG. 10 shows a ridge 2A made of a translucent member having a reflective structure. The uneven surface 2a is formed on the inner surface of the butt 2A.
It is possible to diffuse the light from the inside of the pebbles 2A and to collect and reflect the light of the headlights of the car and the like by the uneven portion 2a. The toe 12A made of a translucent member may have the same structure. In the configuration of the present invention, the translucent member may be formed of a transparent body or a turbid body such as smoked or milky white, and the pier 2A, the pillar 4A, the grip 5A,
The rib 3A and the toe 12A may each be formed of a translucent fluorescent member containing a fluorescent agent. By doing so, it is possible to illuminate fluorescent colors such as red, green, yellow, blue, and pink. In the present invention, the lamp 7 may be a miniature bulb or an LED (light emitting diode). For miniature bulbs, a miniature bulb with a lens having a narrow directivity is preferable because it can collect light, and for LEDs, a red LED with high brightness is preferable because light is less likely to be attenuated. The amount of light can be set by appropriately changing the value of the resistance element R connected in series. FIG. 11 shows an example of a circuit using a relay for lighting / blinking the lamp 7, which is a miniature bulb. By connecting the lighting / flashing circuit 11 to the circuit, the lighting / flashing can be switched to lighting or flashing according to the situation at the place, and the flashing can be performed when the visual appeal is most desired. FIG. 12 shows an example of a circuit for lighting / blinking the lamp 7, which is an LED. Using red and green 2-color LEDs, this circuit continuously lights red or green,
Also, red and green can blink alternately to emit light.
Here, of course, it is also possible to adopt a structure in which only red or only green is blinked.

The present invention has the above-described structure.
The following effects can be obtained. The configuration is such that there is no connection or connection with the wiring of the lead wire, and the portion of the umbrella can be made to emit light with the configuration that requires the least part cost and production cost. In addition, the shining part can be made to shine not only as a conventionally known point but also as a unit part constituting an umbrella,
Since the luminescent area of the shining part is wide and wide, it is hard to be blocked by the body, and it is easy to enter the visual field and gaze. In addition, since it is difficult to directly look at the light source,
The light-emitting part can emit light with soft and gentle light, and does not adversely affect the viewer (lightening, fatigue, tension, etc.).
Further, since the separate penlight can be inserted and removed, the production cost can be very low, and the penlight can be freely illuminated with the right hand at an appropriate time.
