給側配管接続口に設けたことにより、配管の接続部が少
なくなるため、ガスメータ接続配管の施工性が良く、美
観上に優れる。また、ガスメータ10が建屋の外壁に近
接して固定され、前後の突出量が少なく、左右の配管幅
寸法も常に一定の短い幅で配管され、全体としてガスメ
ータの配管設置スペースが大幅に減少し、生活空間が増
す。さらに、環状リングの挟着によって絶縁螺着結合部
が外部湿気環境から遮断されるので、外部から腐食水等
がこの絶縁螺着結合部に入らず長期の絶縁性能が保たれ
