Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a cooling speed of food and restrict an increasing of temperature of food when a power failure occurs by a method wherein there is provided a specified low temperature chamber defined and formed by a door U-shaped shelf in a refrigeration chamber and coolant is filled in a U-shaped shelf in the specified low temperature chamber. SOLUTION: A door 29 is a door of a specified low temperature chamber 30, a shelf 31 is formed into a U-shape in such a way that it may cover a bottom part and both side surfaces of the specified low temperature chamber 30, a cool storage medium 32 is filled in it and it can be slid in a forward direction. In such a configuration as above, cold air flowed through the first discharging port and the second discharging port and the medium 32 are filled in the specified low temperature chamber 30, thereby the entire area is uniformly cooled without any irregular distribution of temperature by the shelf 31 comprising the bottom part and both side surfaces having a cool storage effect in advance.
