技師の煩わしさを解消することができるという効果があ
る。請求項2の発明によれば、患者テーブルをガントリ
の左右両側に一対配置し、また天板横移動自在支持手段
を設けたので、被検体の色々な撮影部位をガントリ内の
磁場中心へ容易に位置合わせでき、撮影効率の向上、画
質の向上及び被検体の負担軽減が図れ、また撮影技師の
煩わしさを解消することができるという効果がある。ま
た、ガントリの左右いずれの側からも患者テーブルに対
する被検体の載せ,降ろしが可能で、さらなる撮影効率
の向上が図れるという効果もある。

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】静磁場及び傾斜磁場の各磁場発生手段を備
え、前面に大きく開口部が開かれたガントリと、被検体
に電磁波を照射しあるいは被検体からの磁気共鳴信号を
検出する高周波コイルと、この高周波コイルで検出され
た信号に基づき前記被検体の物理的性質を表わす画像を
得る画像再構成手段と、前記被検体を横たえた天板を前
記開口部内に送り込みあるいはその送込み位置から前記
開口部外に後退させる被検体体軸方向の縦移動、この縦
移動の方向と直交する水平方向の横移動及び前記開口部
外における前記天板の上下動を各々させる天板移動手段
を持つ患者テーブルとを備えてなる磁気共鳴イメージン
グ装置において、前記患者テーブルは、前記被検体を横
たえた天板を前記開口部内へその開口部のどの角度から
も送り込めかつその縦移動送込み方向が常にガントリ内
の磁場中心に向かうようスイング移動可能なスイング移
動手段を具備することを特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージン
グ装置。

を持つ患者テーブルとを備えてなる磁気共鳴イメージン
グ装置において、前記患者テーブルがガントリの左右両
側に一対配置され、被検体を横たえた両テーブルに共通
の天板がそれらテーブル相互間を、ガントリ内の磁場中
心をその通過点として移動可能でかつ被検体を横たえた
天板が前記磁場中心に位置するときにその天板を横移動
可能に支持する天板横移動自在支持手段を具備すること
を特徴とする磁気共鳴イメージング装置。
