2. Description of the Related Art In interior parts such as automobile pillar garnish and door trim, a synthetic resin sheet as shown in FIG. 9 is formed on the surface of a core material 8 made of hard plastic, metal plate or the like as shown in FIG. A flexible outer skin 9 made of fabric or the like is attached, and the outer peripheral edge 91 of the outer skin 9 is wound around the back side of the outer peripheral edge 81 of the core material 8 and fixed by an adhesive as shown in FIGS. 10 and 11. Has been done. The pasting of the skin 9 to the core material 8 has hitherto been performed by manual work, vacuum forming, pressure bonding press forming, or the like. However, in the case of manual work, there are problems that the productivity is poor and that the finished quality varies depending on the skill of the worker. On the other hand, in the case of vacuum forming, it is troublesome because the outer peripheral edge of the epidermis must be manually wound up on the back surface of the outer peripheral edge of the core after vacuum suction of the epidermis on the surface of the core, and the epidermis is impermeable to air. Therefore, there is a problem that usable materials are limited. Also, in the case of press molding,
There is a limitation on the shape of the core material that can be adopted, such as the fact that an undercut shape cannot be adopted, and there is also a problem that equipment such as a press device becomes large-scale and the equipment cost increases.

Therefore, the present applicant has already proposed a method for solving these problems by the invention described in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-220843, which was previously filed and published. That is, the core material is supported on the core material holding base with its outer peripheral edge free, and after placing the epidermis on the core material, the core material is covered with a flexible and stretchable wrapping film for wrapping. A closed space is formed between the film and the base surface of the lower part of the holding table, the closed space is decompressed, and the wrapping film is wound around the core material side together with the flexible skin, thereby making the skin material a core material. It was fixed on the back side of the outer peripheral edge.

However, according to the above method, even a slight breeze is likely to be affected, which often causes trouble in manufacturing. When the wrapping film 31 is covered on the core material 8, the wrapping film 31 is light, and even if a slight cross wind blows, the wrapping film 31 is biased to one side as shown in FIG. A closed space could not be formed between the base surface 62 below the holding table. Even if a closed space is created, it is often the case that the winding process of the skin 9 is impossible. In addition, the outer skin 9 placed on the core material 8 was easily displaced when the covering film 31 was covered.

According to the method of attaching the epidermis according to the first aspect of the present invention, prior to the covering of the core material on the holding base and the epidermis, the wrapping film which bulges downward in a substantially convex shape at the center of the film frame by the cushion body. Is stretched over the film frame,
Even if cross wind blows when the film frame descends, the cushioning body suppresses the unevenness of the wrapping film. Then, when the wrapping film covers the epidermis on the core material from above while contracting or moving the cushion body upward, the reaction force of the cushion body or its own weight appropriately presses the epidermis to the core material side, so the position of the epidermis The gap is less likely to occur. At the same time, since the wrapping film that the cushion body has occupied so far becomes excessive and becomes dubbed, a closed space can be reliably formed around the holding table. When the cushion body is composed of the presser plug and the shaft body vertically movably passing through the linear bush vertically on the upper surface, as in the method for attaching the skin of the second invention, the presser body is provided with the stopper to provide the presser foot. The height of the plug can be adjusted easily, and the degree of bulging of the wrapping film can be set as desired. Furthermore, if the presser plug has a mold surface that follows the surface of the core material,
When the wrapping film covers the epidermis on the core material from above, the presser plug presses the epidermis with its own weight through the wrapping film, so that the displacement of the epidermis becomes even less likely to occur. As in the method for attaching the epidermis of the third invention, even if the cushion body is formed of a sponge body, it prevents the wrapping film from being biased to one side due to the influence of wind, and the wrapping film is the skin on the core material. When covering from above, the reaction force presses against the epidermis with the contraction to prevent positional displacement, so that the structure is simple but effective.

Then, the cylinder 7 is operated to stop the skin receiving base 22 at a position higher than the core material 8 on the holding base 1. This operation may be performed before the core material 8 is supported on the holding table 1. Then, the flexible skin 9 cut into a predetermined size is set on the skin receiving base 22 (second step). Epidermis 9
The sheet is placed on the flat portion 21 in a state where the lateral displacement is prevented by the raised portion 22. Of course, the skin 9 may be slightly bent as shown in FIG. 1, and the skin may be received not only by the flat portion 21 but also by the core material 8 on the holding table. Here, the outer skin 9 is cut around the outer peripheral edge 91 with a margin, and the core material 8
It is larger. For the skin 9, for example, a vinyl chloride sheet-like crosslinked foam (having a thickness of 0.30 to 0.45 mm)
Of the foam layer having a thickness of 1.5 to 3 mm to the solid layer by adhesive lamination or heat fusion, or a foamed polyethylene sheet foam (a solid layer having a thickness of 0.30 to 0.45 mm, a thickness of 1 (A heat-sealed foam layer having a thickness of 0.5 to 3 mm), and further, a vinyl chloride sheet to which a urethane foam slab (thickness: 1 to 3 mm) is adhesively laminated are used. These epidermis 9 have a temperature of 80 ° C. to 9 ° C. prior to the attachment of the epidermis 9 in order to allow extensional deformation to some extent.
Heating to 0 ° C. is customary. The outer skin 9 may be a flexible material such as a fabric instead of the above material, and in this case, it does not matter whether it is inspiratory or non-inspiratory. still,
No heating is required when using fabric.

Next, a film frame 3 having a wrapping film 31 stretched inside the frame is arranged above the skin receiving base 2, and the wrapping film 31 bulges downward in a convex shape by a holding plug hanging down by its own weight. Then, both sides of the wrapping film are locked to the film frame 3 (FIG. 1). Here, as for the height of the presser plug 41, the level of the stopper 43 is adjusted so that it comes into contact with the packaging film 31 as shown in FIG.
It is important that the wrapping film 31 does not loosen. Otherwise, the portion of the light wrapping film 31 that is dubbed due to cross wind is biased to one side, and the closed space surrounded by the wrapping film 31 described later (fifth step) is vacuum-sucked to the core material 8 together with the epidermis. It becomes difficult to adsorb. After a while
The film frame 3 is lowered by an elevator mechanism (not shown), and
As shown in (3), the film 31 for wrapping is allowed to reach on the epidermis (third step). The film frame 3 continues to descend without slowing its descending speed, and the base surface 6
Land on 6.

At the stage where the presser plug 41 descends and contacts the skin 9 with the wrapping film 31 interposed,
The epidermis cradle 2 is lowered. The lowering timing of the skin receiving base 2 is convenient for preventing the skin from being displaced by the raised portion 22 when the pressing plug 41 presses the skin 9 toward the core material 8 from above. In the present embodiment, the cylinder 7 contracts before the film frame 3 reaches the base surface 62, and the skin cradle 2 reaches the base surface 62 so that the closed space S can be easily formed. .

In the descending process of the film frame 3, after the wrapping film 31 reaches the outer skin 9, the presser plug 41, which is a cushion body, is prevented from descending by the holding base 1, and the shaft body 42 inside the linear bush 33. As a result, the die surface of the presser plug is pressed against the outer skin 9 from above by its own weight and is relatively lifted as the film frame 3 descends (FIG. 3). The upward movement of the shaft body 42 in the linear bush 33 is mechanically simple without using a cylinder or the like,
Moreover, since the film frame 3 automatically follows up even if the descending speed of the film frame 3 is increased, it contributes to the productivity increase of the work of attaching the epidermis. Thus, the epidermis cradle 2 and the film frame 3
3 is landed on the base surfaces 62 and 66, and as shown in FIG. 3, the outer skin 9 on the core material 8 is covered with the wrapping film 31 from above to form the closed space S around the holding table 1 (fourth step).

Then, the vacuum pump 5 is operated to suck and depressurize the air in the closed space S to wind the skin 9 (fifth step). The air in the vacuum chamber 61, the space 11, and the ventilation hole 12 is sucked to adsorb the skin 9 on the surface of the core material 8, and the air in the closed space S is also sucked in vacuum. The air in the closed space S is supplied from the back surface of the core material 8 to the ventilation hole 12, the space 11, the vacuum chamber 61,
It is sucked by the vacuum pump 5 via the conduit 51 and discharged to the outside of the system. Vacuum suction in the closed space S is a few seconds (here about 8 seconds)
Complete with Here, it is preferable to use, as the packaging film 31, a flexible film having excellent slidability and having no air intake or low air intake. Specifically, a polypropylene film, a polyethylene film, a polyester film, a nylon film, or the like, among which a film having a small friction resistance on the surface and slippery, such as a polyethylene film, is suitable because the winding operation is not hindered. The film includes a sheet.

Thus, even if a side wind blows when the film frame 3 is lowered, the pressing plug 41 protruding downward prevents the packing film 31 from fluttering and being biased, and the pressing plug 41 is appropriately pressed to cover the skin. The upper surface of the epidermis 9 is attached while suppressing the positional deviation of the epidermis 9, and further vacuum suction is applied to the outer peripheral edge 9 of the epidermis.
1 is rolled up on the back side of the core material to make a skin-attached product that does not wrinkle or float over the entire product. After that, the vacuum suction is stopped and the epidermis cradle 2 and the film frame 3 are returned to their initial positions, whereby a desired pillar garnish in which the epidermis 9 is attached to the core material 8 is obtained.

In this way, a series of skin attachment work is completed. When the film frame 2 returns to the initial position, the shaft 42 descends in the linear bush 33 and is set to the initial position. The wrapping film 31 keeps a shape that bulges downward in a convex shape with the presser plug 41 in a state without dulling.
Of course, even if the wind blows, the presser plug 41 has a shape-retaining action that is downwardly convex. Therefore, when the next skin attachment operation (second and subsequent attachment operations) is to be continued, the stopper level is adjusted so as to contact the wrapping film one by one so that the wrapping film 31 does not become dull. No hassle. That is, the above-mentioned steps except this work are repeated to perform the continuous sticking work of the epidermis.

In the above-mentioned method of attaching the skin, the skin receiving base 2 is started to descend during the lowering of the film frame 3, but the effect of preventing the displacement of the skin 9 is weak, but the skin receiving base 2 It is possible to lower the film frame 3 after lowering or to simultaneously lower. In addition, after the skin pedestal 2 has reached the base surface 62, the film frame 3 is attached to the base surface 6
Although 6 is reached, the order may be reversed or simultaneous arrival may be performed.

(2) Example 2 FIGS. 5 and 6 show another embodiment used in the method for attaching the epidermis. Instead of the cushion body 4 composed of the pressing plug 41 and the shaft body 42, a cushion body 4'is formed of a sponge material. The other device configuration is the same as that of the first embodiment. The cushion body 4'is substantially rectangular and is fixed to the back side of the gate-shaped frame 32 at the center of the lower surface of the film frame 2, and the lower portion of the cushion body 4'forms a recess 44 following the surface of the core material.

The cushion body 4'is designed such that the wrapping film 31 in the film frame covers the cushion body 4'in a downward convex shape without being subjected to an external load until the third step. Therefore, the bulging cushion body 4'prevents the wrapping film 31 from being biased even if there is a side wind or the like. Further, in the step of lowering the skin pedestal 2 and the film frame 3 in the fourth step, the wrapping film 31 covers the skin 9 on the core material 8 from above to form the closed space S around the holding table 1, The body 4'is contracted by the holding table 1 and the gate-shaped frame 32 to change into a contracted state. Then, with the compression of the cushion body 4 ', an appropriate reaction force is generated, which eliminates the positional deviation of the outer skin 9 and sticks the outer skin 9 onto the upper surface of the core material 8 neatly. The other steps for attaching the epidermis are the same as in Example 1.

(3) Effect of Example According to the method of attaching the epidermis having the above-described aspect, the epidermis which can be used for various epidermis 9 and the core material 8 by a simple operation and which is cut into a predetermined size in advance. By using No. 9, it is possible to attach the epidermis to the core material without post-processing (trimming). Then, the cushion bodies 4 and 4'include the wrapping film 3
1 maintains the shape of the film frame 3 in a state of being inflated in a convex shape at the central position of the film frame 3, so that the packaging film 31
Are lowered to the proper positions on the core material 8 and the skin 9, and the outer peripheral edge 9 of the skin is
The roll-in of 1 proceeds smoothly and the finish is stable.
Further, since the presser plug 41 descends together with the wrapping film 31 and presses the epidermis 9, the slippage of the epidermis is effectively prevented. Further, the film frame 3 is lowered to make the wrapping film 3
The shaft body 42 moves upward in the linear bush 33 as 1 covers the skin 9 on the core material 8. However, since the shaft body is simply inserted into the linear bush 33, the film is formed. Even if the descending speed of the frame 3 is increased, the frame 3 can be sufficiently followed, and the productivity can be improved. Even with the cushion body 4'as in the second embodiment, it is possible to prevent the wrapping film 31 from being biased by the wind while having a simple structure, and to lower the skin together with the film frame 3 by an appropriate reaction force due to the contraction. Helps to prevent presser and slippage.
