Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce wear by subjecting one of cutter and another cutter to a coating treatment or surface treatment with different components, thereby suppressing wear due to surface hardness increase and reducing affinity for rubbing each other of respective cutting edges. SOLUTION: A coating layer 14 of a prescribed component is applied to one corrugated fin forming cutter 3 (made of high speed steel or sintered hard alloy), on the other hand, a coating layer 15 having the component different from the coating layer 14 is applied to the other corrugated fin forming cutter 3 (made of high speed steel or sintered hard alloy). Thus, the wear amount of the cutters subjected to coating is reduced, further, the wear amount of the cutters subjected to the coating with different components is reduced as component to the cutters subjected to the coating treatment to the same component.

As described above, according to the present invention, since the coating treatment or the surface treatment is effectively performed, the fin material is prevented from being worn due to the increase in hardness, and the blade portions are rubbed against each other. As a result, wear is suppressed due to a decrease in affinity, so that the life of the corrugated fin forming cutter can be extended.
