Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to uniformly bind the feet by pivotally supporting forward inclination regulation members to a high back pendently disposed in the rear part of a base plate and pivotally supporting the high back to the base plate by means of a pivotal supporting part variable in a mounting position. SOLUTION: The binding for the snowboard fixed to a snowboard body is constituted by connecting the forward tiltable high back 2 to the base plate 1 and pivotally supporting the high back freely turnably by means of the pivotally supporting part 3 to the base plate 1. In such a case, the holes 8 formed at the base plate 1 for forming the pivotally supporting part 3 are formed of plural pieces of lining up in one straight line. The front end of the high back 2 is freely turnably and pivotally supported by means of a pin 7 into the arbitrary one of these holes 8. A projecting step part 10 to be engaged with the front surface in the rear part of the base plate 1 in opposite contact therewith is integrally molded on the rear surface of the high back 2. As a result, the for ward inclination of the high back 2 is extremely easily adjusted by detaining the pin 7 with the arbitrary one of the plural holes 8 formed at the base plate 1.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION A snowboard binding according to the present invention comprises a base plate, a highback suspended from a rear portion of the baseplate, a forward leaning restricting member provided on the highback, and the highback pivoted to the baseplate. It is composed of a pivot portion that can be freely pivoted, a toe strap and ankle strap provided on the base plate, and the pivot portion has a variable attachment position.

Further, the snowboard binding of the present invention includes a base plate, a contact plate attached to a bottom plate of the base plate, a highback hung vertically from the rear portion of the base plate and pivotally supported on the contact plate. It comprises a toe strap and ankle strap provided on the base plate, and the contact plate is displaceable relative to the base plate.

The forward lean regulating member is integral with the high back.

Further, the snowboard binding of the present invention includes a base plate, a high back which is vertically provided at a rear portion of the base plate, a forward tilt restricting member which is provided on the high back, and the high back which is pivotally supported on the base plate. Since the snowboard binding of the present invention has the above-described structure, the pin 7 is locked at any of the plurality of holes 8 formed in the base plate 1 or at any position of the long hole 9. By setting the height, the forward inclination of the high back 2 can be adjusted very easily.

Further, since the forward inclination regulating member 6 is integrally formed on the highback 2, the strength of the highback 2 is increased, the risk of cracking is reduced, and the reliability is improved.
Since the number of parts is reduced, the cost can be reduced.

In another embodiment of the present invention, as shown in FIG. 4, a contact plate 11 is placed on the rear portion of the upper surface of the base plate 1, and the contact plate 11 is provided with an elongated hole 12 extending in the longitudinal direction. It is fixed to the base plate 1 by screws 13 so as to be adjustable in the longitudinal direction, and the front ends of the highbacks 2 are pivotally supported by the pins 7 on both side ears 14 of the contact plate 11.

A base plate, a highback suspended from a rear portion of the base plate, a forward tilt restricting member provided on the highback, a pivot portion for pivotally pivoting the highback on the base plate, and the base plate. A snowboard binding, comprising a toe strap and an ankle strap provided, wherein the pivot portion has a variable mounting position. 2. A base plate, a contact plate attached to a bottom plate of the base plate, a highback which is hung vertically from a rear portion of the base plate and pivotally supported on the contact plate, and a toe strap provided on the base plate. A snowboard binding comprising an ankle strap, wherein the contact plate is displaceable relative to the base plate. 3. The snowboard binding according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the forward lean regulating member is integral with the highback. 4. A base plate, a highback suspended from a rear portion of the base plate, a forward tilt restricting member provided on the highback, a pivot portion for pivotally pivoting the highback on the base plate, and the base plate. A snowboard binding, comprising a toe strap and an ankle strap provided, and a pad arranged on the lower surface of the toe strap, the pad increasing in thickness toward the little finger side from the thumb side. 5. A base plate, a highback suspended from a rear portion of the base plate, a forward tilt restricting member provided on the highback, a pivot portion for pivotally pivoting the high back on the base plate, and the base plate. A snowboard binding, comprising a toe strap and an ankle strap provided, and a pad arranged on the lower surface of the ankle strap, the pad increasing in thickness from the thumb side toward the little finger side. 6. A base plate, a highback suspended from a rear portion of the base plate, a forward tilt restricting member provided on the highback, a pivot portion for pivotally pivoting the highback on the base plate, and the base plate. A snowboard binding, comprising a toe strap and an ankle strap provided, wherein a lock-preventing washer is arranged on a pivot portion that pivotally supports the base portion of the toe strap.
