Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease sticking processes and improve adhesive strength by integrally molding the foamed rubber as an edge on a speaker diaphragm main body in the metal mold. SOLUTION: A nonpress diaphragm main body 15 is mounted on a movable bottom force 10b, and an outer peripheral tip part 15a is mounted projecting over a recessed part 10e. Then the foamed rubber 16 is properly arranged in a recessed part 10e of an edge molding lower force 10c, and a top force is lowered until a edge molding top force abuts against a stopper. At this time, a movable bottom force 10b and a movable top force 11b which clump the diaphragm main body 15 move back while pressing the diaphragm main body 15 slightly with their springs. The bottom force 10 and top force 11 are heated, so the foamed rubber 16 is foamed and expands to fill the gap formed of a projection part and the recessed part 10e, thereby clamping the diaphragm main body 15 by the edge.
