Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel heater in which a thermal insulating characteristic at a rear surface of a panel heater is improved by a rational configuration, a foot area of a user is effectively heated with a less amount of heat and a superior maintenance can be attained. SOLUTION: A heat radiation plate 1 and an operating section 5 are supported by a U-shaped frame 7 enclosing the heat radiation plate 1 attached with a heater 2 and the operating section 5, the frame is constructed by the U-shaped frame 7 and another one side frame member 8. A closed space 19 is formed by a rear surface side of a thermal insulating material 4 arranged at a rear surface of the heat radiation plate 1 with the frame and by a fixing wall surface. A double heat-insulated structure is formed by the heat insulating material 4 and the closed space 19, so that a useless heat radiation toward the rear surface of the heat radiating plate 1 is reduced and a heat radiation toward a surface side where a user is present, resulting in that a person's foot heating can be attained in a less amount of consumption electrical power.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. As shown in the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a heat dissipation plate having a rectangular plane. A heater 2 is attached to the back surface of the heat dissipation plate 1, and a surface cloth 3 is attached to the front surface of the heat dissipation plate 1. The back surface is covered with a heat insulating material 4, and a flat rectangular operation part 5 is provided adjacent to the heat dissipation plate 1 and a front plate 6 is provided on the front surface of the operation part 5, and the outer periphery of the operation part 5 has a substantially planar shape with one side open. It is surrounded by a frame-shaped integral frame body 7 and another side frame body 8 having the same cross-sectional shape and covering the operation portion 5 side. The surface cloth 3 covers the entire surface of the heat dissipation plate 1, and at the same time, the end portion is sandwiched between the heat dissipation plate 1 and the folded portion 9 is formed on the back surface side. The cross-sectional shape of the frame body 7 is a shape having an F-shape as shown in FIGS. 3 and 5 or an E-shape as shown in FIG. The folded portion 9 of the outer cloth 3, the heat radiating plate 1, and the heat insulating material 4 are sandwiched and supported by the shape portion 10. A support fitting 11 is fixed to the back surface of the heat insulating material 4 at a portion other than the U-shaped cross-sectional shape portion 11 of the frame body 7 so as to suppress the heat insulating material 4.

The operation portion 5 adjacent to the side surface of the heat radiating plate 1 and the front plate 6 on the front surface thereof are supported by the frame body 7 in the same manner as the heat radiating plate 1, and the front plate 6 is the same as the heat radiating plate 1 in the frame body 7. The operation section 5 is supported by being sandwiched by the U-shaped cross section 10.
The one end surface 12 of the operation portion 5 is fixed to the other portion, the one end surface 12 is located behind the heat insulating material 4, and the frame body 8 on the other side is fixed to the side surface portion of the operation portion 5. A switch 13 for controlling energization to the heater 2 is located in the operation section 5, and power cords 14a and 14b are connected to both the left and right sides of the operation section 5, one power cord 14a being a frame 8 on a side surface of the operation section 5. Therefore, the other power cord 14b passes behind the heat insulating material 4 and is taken out from the frame body 7 on the side surface of the heat dissipation plate 1. Power cords 14a and 14
b is connected in the operation unit 5 and supplies power to the heater 2 and the switch 13. Switch 13 of operation unit 5
Is provided in a recessed position from the surface of the front plate 6, and the heater 2 is a thin tape-shaped heater made of a polyethylene carbon black composition and having PTC characteristics.

Each panel heater unit 15 surrounded by the frame body 7 and the frame body 8 on the other side is vertically sandwiched by a mounting frame member 16 and a space 17 is left and right to form a wall surface 18 by the mounting frame member 16.
By fixing to the frame body 7 and the back surface of the heat insulating material 4 and the wall surface 18
A closed space 19 is formed between the panel heater units 15
The power cords 14a and 14b are connected to each other, the connecting portion 20 is located in the gap 17, and the cover 21 is sandwiched and fixed by the mounting frame member 16 so as to cover the gap 17.

The operation of the above configuration will be described. When power is supplied to the power cords 14a or 14b, the panel heater unit 15 energizes the heater 2 by the switch 13 to heat the heat sink 1. The heat sink 1 and the back surface of the heater 2 are thermally insulated by the heat insulating material 4 and also in the closed space 19, so that the heat radiation to the back surface of the heat sink 1 is reduced and the heat radiation to the front surface is increased. Further, the heat radiation plate 1, the heat insulating material 4, and the front plate 6 are supported only by being inserted into the U-shaped cross-sectional shape portion 10 of the frame body 7,
Since only one side is composed of the frame body 8 on the other side, it is possible to separate by simply removing the frame body 8 on the other side.

As described above, according to the panel heater of the embodiment of the present invention, since the heat insulating material 4 and the closed space 19 have a double heat insulating structure, wasteful heat radiation to the back side of the heat radiating plate 1 is reduced and the front side. Since the heat radiation to the body increases, it is possible to heat the feet of the individual with less power consumption. Further, since the temperature rise of the wall surface 18 which is the mounting surface is reduced, the safety of the wall surface is also improved.

Further, since the surface of the heat sink 1 is covered with the outer cloth 3, no burns are caused even if a foot or the like touches the surface of the heat sink 1, and the outer cloth 3 is folded back to the rear surface of the heat sink 1. 10
Since the cover cloth 3 is provided, the cover cloth 3 is not caught by the end surface portion of the heat dissipation plate 1, and the cover cloth 3 is not displaced even if the surface of the heat dissipation plate 1 is rubbed with a foot or the like.

Around the heat sink 1 is a frame 7 with a heat insulating material 4 interposed therebetween.
Since the back surface side is supported by the support metal fitting 11 and the one end surface 12 of the operation portion 5, the heat dissipation plate 1 is supported even if a large load is applied by kicking the surface of the heat dissipation plate 1. Will never be destroyed.

Since the heat radiating plate 1 and the front plate 6 are inserted into and supported by the U-shaped section 10 of the frame body 7, they can be incorporated into the frame body 7 by sliding them from the side and disassembling. Further, a large number of panel heater units 15 can be continuously mounted on the wall surface 18 by a mounting frame member 16, and the connecting portion 20 of the power cords 14a and 144b is provided with a gap 17 between them.
Since the surface is covered with the cover 21 and the surface of the wall surface 18 is only the thickness of the panel heater 15 protruding, the appearance is excellent and at the same time there is no possibility of catching a cord or injury from a step, etc. Will be excellent.
