行なわれている測定方法としては、ノギスで拡開部の最
大径を測定したり、あるいは図3で示すテーパゲージを
用いて管端拡開部の拡開量を測定していた。

確認できる測定容易なゲージを提供するものである。

正確かつ容易に管拡開部の拡径量を測定することができ
る。またゲージ先端側の平行円筒部は、管の平行部内径
の規定最小寸法に挿通するように設けてあるので、管の
拡開部を加工する際に拡開部基側の管平行部が変形して
扁平していたりすると、ゲージ先端側の平行円筒部を挿
入させることができず、従って管平行部の扁平具合も同
時に確認できる。
