2. Description of the Related Art The most common type of adhesive tape of this type has a tape width of 50 mm or 25 mm and a relatively large cross-sectional shape in which the diameter of the entire tape wound around a core material reaches about 130 mm. Although it is a hollow cylinder with a nearly perfect circle, it is easy to use and has various applications such as packing, sealing, temporary fixing, repair, etc. There are many, and today it is positioned as one of the essential things that must be done.

The adhesive tape, which is useful in this way, is desired to be kept on a daily basis, but since it is large as described above, it can be carried in a bag, bag or the like. Not only is it difficult, but it is not easy to secure an exhibition space in the store. Therefore, the stores to be sold are mostly limited to relatively large stores and specialty stores, and the kiosks and so-called convenience stores at relatively easy-to-see stations.
The reality is that small stores such as stores do not sell well, and it is difficult to obtain an emergency.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, embodiments of the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 shows an example thereof. This pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is provided with a laminate layer 5 on at least one of the front and back surfaces of the tape base fabric 4, and the resin of the laminate layer is allowed to penetrate into the base fabric 4, and the surface of one of the front and back laminate layers 5 is For example, a tape 2 to which a pressure sensitive adhesive layer 1 made of acrylic resin is attached is wound around a core material 3.

The tape 2 is made of a flat yarn of polyethylene resin or polypropylene resin and is made of warp yarns 6 and 7.
The warp 6 is 50 to 250 denier and the weft 7 is 200
The warp yarn 6 has a lower denier than the weft yarn 7 in the range of up to 400 denier, and the weaving density of the warp yarn 6 is set higher than that of the weft yarn 7, for example, the warp yarn (115 denier) 6
Of the weft yarn (320 denier) 7 and the wetting density of 16 yarns / inch. Thus, the tape 2 is excellent in hand-cutting property and has a good balance of tensile strength that can be practically used. Although the thickness of the tape 2 is increased by providing the laminating layer 5, the presence of the laminating layer 5 causes a buffering due to a yarn shift when the yarns 6 and 7 are fixed and the tape 2 is torn off. It is suppressed and greatly contributes to the improvement of hand tearability.

The core material 3 around which the tape 2 is wound is made of paper, polypropylene resin, polyethylene resin, nylon resin, polyester resin or the like. For example, a paper-made core material has a curved surface whose entire surface is curved in only one direction, has a major axis of 140 mm or less, and has an elliptical cross-sectional shape in which the ratio of the minor axis to the major axis is 50% or less. It is formed on the body and its thickness is set to 0.5 mm or more to be as thin as possible in order to have suitable elasticity. It is indispensable to wind the pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in an annular shape for the purpose of use, but if the core material to be wound is a flat plate, it is not preferable because a stab crease is formed at every constant length of tape. From such a background, in principle, a cylindrical body having a curved surface whose entire surface is curved only in one direction as a peripheral surface and which is elastically deformable and also has a restoring property is used as a core material. However, as shown in FIG. 2, the central portion of the plane substantially parallel to the long side is irrelevant to the generation of the folds, and thus may be a substantially flat plane. Hereinafter, this area is tentatively referred to as a plane portion 8.

If the tape 2 having the above-described structure is used and the winding thickness of the tape 2 is 10 mm or less, the shape of the entire adhesive tape can be slightly deformed depending on the storage location, and it can be temporarily transported for convenience. Even if it is crushed to a state close to a flat plate, it can be expected to return with its elasticity and prevent stubborn creases, and when used, make the cross-sectional shape somewhat closer to a perfect circle to make it easier to use It is also possible.
In the conventional adhesive tape, the thickness of the core material is set to about 3 mm and the winding thickness of the tape is set to 20 mm or more, so that deformation depending on the storage location can hardly be expected.

On the other hand, when the major axis of the core material 3 is short, that is, one piece in the longitudinal direction which is relatively gently curved (the plane portion 8).
When the tape is used, the tape 2 separated from the roll (the tape 2 wound on the core material 3) may be wavy finely and it may be difficult to stick it nicely. If the thickness is satisfied, the length of the tape 2 that can be wound is limited, which is not preferable in terms of workability. Therefore, as the major axis of the core material 3 of the adhesive tape according to the present invention,
Although it depends on the tape width, for example, a tape having a width of 25 mm may be 50 mm or more, and a tape having a width of 50 mm may be 70 mm or more.

Furthermore, if the most bent portion of the core material 3 (hereinafter referred to as the sharpened portion 9) is also made as gentle as possible, it is possible to reliably prevent the tape 2 from breaking. If possible, it is desirable to attach a reinforcing material having a curved surface such as a cylinder having a small diameter that does not impair the flat state of the core material 3 so that the location is not crushed and sharpened. However, in the case where the tape 2 which is not easily creased due to the thickness or the material is wound, it may not be necessary to positively require the sharpness of the sharpened portion.

The adhesive tape formed as described above does not require scissors because it has excellent hand-cutting properties,
In terms of hand tearability, almost the same effect can be obtained by wrapping paper tape. On the other hand, adhesive tapes used for applications that do not require good hand tearability are constructed by wrapping vinyl tape or nylon tape. You can also do it.

When a core material made of nylon resin or polyester resin is used, the major axis is 140 mm or less and the ratio of the minor axis to the major axis is 50% or less. For example, the cross-sectional shape that can be deformed into an elliptical shape is almost true. Temporarily form a circular cylinder. It is preferable that the thickness of the core material is as thin as possible, but the practical range is 0.3 mm or more. Since the core material of nylon resin or polyester resin is relatively freely deformable, it can be molded into a crushed elliptical shape when carried, and can be molded into a shape close to a perfect circle when used, which is good in workability. On the other hand, in the case of using a synthetic resin or paper which is not easily deformed other than the nylon resin or the polyester resin as a material for the core material, in the case of a paper core material, a plurality of cuts are formed on the inner surface of the core material after winding. In some cases, a resin core material may be preliminarily provided with a plurality of cuts on the inner surface of the core material using a mold.

As described above, since the adhesive tape according to the present invention has a flat shape or can be deformed into a flat shape, it can be stored in a corner of the bag when traveling and if necessary. In various work sites, a worker can always put it in a pocket or the like and use it appropriately. Also, when shipping as a product, the hollow part that existed in the center of the core material of the conventional adhesive tape disappears, and not only the product itself but also the packaging material can be downsized and flattened, and the delivery efficiency is improved. In addition, since it can be stored in a nylon bag or the like and hung up for sale at a store, it can be easily left stationary even in a small retail store that does not have a large exhibition space. As a result, consumers will be able to purchase it at the nearest kiosk or convenience store when they need it, just like portable paper without having to carry it with them all the time.
