Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide warm lunch using a compact lunchbox by providing a heat insulating material around an outside container and a lid, providing a heater at the bottom, providing a rechargeable battery in a battery compartment, and passing current through the heater via a battery residual capacity meter and a thermostat. SOLUTION: A heat insulating material 7 is provided around an outer container 1 and a lid 3, the outer container 1 is provided with a heater 4, and a rechargeable battery 10 is mounted in a battery compartment 9 provided at the left corner. The inner container 2 of the lunchbox is heated by heat produced by the heater 4. A switch 6 is mounted, and a battery residual capacity meter 8 is provided. A thermostat 5 is mounted between the inner and outer containers 1, 2, and in use, rice is put in the inner container 2 and covered with the lid 3 and the switch 6 is turned on. Electricity is switched off when the lid 3 is open.
