2. Description of the Related Art A very general method of packaging is to put a packaged object in a rectangular outer box made of corrugated cardboard with a gap filled with a cushioning material. Styrofoam, which is lightweight and resistant to compression, has been widely used as a cushioning material in the past. However, since styrofoam is bulky and requires a large storage space, and there is a problem with its disposal, packaging technology is being advanced in a direction where it is not used as much as possible. For example, Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-42929 discloses a packaging device using a cushioning material formed of corrugated cardboard, in which styrofoam is bonded only at essential points.

Further, for example, as shown in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. 62-44901, the outer box is composed of two C type boxes (JI.
Sz-1507 code number 0300) and two U-shaped cushioning materials formed by folding corrugated cardboard paper between them to form a C-shaped box and a C-shaped box. There is also a way to wrap it in the form of wrapping it with cushioning material. In this way, by using an outer box that is not completed as a box by itself,
The extra volume can be eliminated and the volume of the packaging form can be reduced with less material. Also in the packaging device shown in this publication, a cushioning material made of Styrofoam is packed only between the corners of the article to be packaged and each C-type box as in the former case.

The conventional packaging device as described above is widely used for packaging electrical products and the like.
Both of them are still using styrofoam, although they are minimal, and their disposal is still problematic. In particular, corrugated cardboard with Styrofoam bonded to it is difficult to separate the corrugated cardboard from the Styrofoam, and is poor in disposal. However, when the object to be packaged is a hexahedron formed by facing, or an outer shape similar to this, the packaging volume tends to decrease from the beginning, and it is not so easy to devise ways to reduce the amount of Styrofoam. It's not difficult.

However, it is not so easy in the case of a packaged product having a non-faced surface shape and an external shape including a protruding structure in a part thereof. That is, between the outer box that is basically composed of a face and the surface shape that is composed of a non-face,
A gap is formed due to the projecting structure, and it is necessary to fill this gap in order to put the packaged object in a buffered state. To fill such a relatively large gap, it is also easy to use styrofoam of the molded product. Regardless of this method that deviates from the current state of packaging technology, although it is possible to form a cushioning material that does not use Styrofoam if you form a cushioning material in a shape corresponding to the gap with corrugated paper and fill the gap with these, As it is, the packaging volume cannot be reduced, and it takes time to form the cushioning material and the packaging material is bulky, which is not costly.

According to this packaging apparatus, there is almost no gap between the article to be packaged and the outer box, and the packaging volume is generally minimized. The widest gap 6 formed by the surface shape 1 of the main body 3 is used for accommodating the projecting structure 2, and the gap 6 is complemented by the cushioning member 7, so that the stability of the shape of the outer box is increased and the non-maintenance of the main body 3 is increased. Both the surface shape 1 of the face and the protruding structure 2 are buffered by the buffer member 7. Further, the cushioning material 12 can be increased or decreased depending on the object to be packaged, and the cushioning function of the upper portion and the lower portion can be easily adjusted. Since the storage location of the cushioning member 7 is set at the upper portion, the projecting structure 2 can be easily packaged and taken out, and the presence or absence of the projecting structure 2 accommodated in the cushioning member 7 can be visually confirmed through the window 16. Further, since all the main constituent members are basically formed of a flat plate, they have good storability and do not contain styrofoam, etc., and thus have good discardability and can be recycled.
