Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a mobile station in a call signal standby state by allowing a receiver of a private mobile telephone system to receive a call signal from a mobile communication network, informing it to the mobile station and allowing the mobile station to send a reply signal directly to the mobile communication network being a caller. SOLUTION: Upon the receipt of a call signal Pch from any of plural mobile communication networks 100, a receiver 3 of a private mobile telephone system 1 detects the presence of a call signal in the Pch addressed to a mobile station 6. When the call signal is in existence, the receiver 3 adds identification information of the communication network 100 being the caller to the call signal and sends the resulting signal to a CPU 5 of an exchange 2. The CPU 5 selects a proper base station 4 and sends a call signal to the mobile station 6 registered in advance and allows the mobile station 6 to send a reply signal directly to the communication network being the caller. Thus, it is not required for the mobile station 6 to await the Pch from the communication network and the mobile station 6 reduces its power consumption in the standby state and then the operation available time of a power supply battery is extended.

At present, commercial (public) and privately-owned mobile radio communication systems have been put into practical use. However, in the public mobile communication network and the private-use mobile telephone system, the radio frequency to be used and the control procedure are used. However, when the mobile station wants to receive the call signal from both, it can receive the call signal from any of them because the radio signals of independent radio frequencies are transmitted to the mobile station by different procedures. Similarly, it is necessary to wait for a call signal from both. The same applies when receiving call signals from a plurality of public mobile communication networks that use different radio frequencies and control procedures. At present, a digital mobile phone system (a mobile phone system based on a digital car phone system, called a PDC network) is about to become the mainstream of public mobile communication networks. Since a new mobile communication system such as a private PHS (cordless system for business establishments) is put into practical use and a plurality of mobile communication services are commercialized in parallel, a mobile station that can be connected to any network (system) is It is necessary to reduce power consumption during standby and enhance user convenience.

2. Description of the Related Art A calling radio wave (usually called Pch) transmitted from a PDC network such as a conventional digital car telephone system to a subscriber's mobile station is defined by each network (system). At every predetermined time interval (for example, 500 ms), the data is transmitted to mobile stations within the range. Each mobile station receives the Pch from the network in synchronization with its transmission cycle, and checks whether or not the pch signal addressed to itself is included therein. When a certain mobile station waits for Pchs from a plurality of networks in parallel, it is necessary to receive Pchs from each network. Therefore, FIG. 6B is an explanatory diagram of the standby operation of the mobile station. For example, if you want to receive a call signal addressed to your own station from three networks N1, N2, and N3 that transmit Pch every 500 ms, you must receive Pch three times in every 500 ms. become. Then, as shown in the configuration diagram of the conventional example of FIG. 6 (a), the pch of the call received by the mobile station 6 from a certain mobile communication network (100) includes a paging signal addressed to the own station 6. In this case, the mobile station 6 is configured to send back a response signal indicating that the paging signal has been received, to the mobile communication network 100 which is the source of the received Pch. Also, when a call signal is received from the private mobile phone system (1), a response signal indicating that the call signal has been received is similarly returned to the private system (1) of the calling source.

In order for the mobile station 6 to receive the Pch of the calling signal from the mobile communication network (100) and the private mobile phone system (1), at least the reception moment is received. Since it is necessary to turn on the power of the machine, it consumes power correspondingly. Since there is no need to perform the receiving operation during the time when the Pch signal is not transmitted from either the mobile communication network (100) or the private mobile phone system (1), the receiver may be powered off. Therefore, the mobile station

An incoming call to the private system (1) is a mobile communication network.
When there is a telephone system (200) other than (100), information for identifying whether the incoming call is from the mobile communication network or from other
It is added to the calling signal (claim 3). The base station 4 of the private mobile phone system (1), which has been notified of the ringing signal, uses the Pc of the radio frequency simultaneous paging for the private mobile phone system (1).
A call signal to the mobile station 6 is inserted into h and transmitted. Mobile station
Since 6 stands by for Pch from the private mobile phone system (1), it can receive a calling signal from the mobile communication network (100) of the calling source. The mobile station 6 that receives the call signal from the private system (1) notifies whether the received call signal is a call from the mobile communication network (100) or a call from other than that. Since it can be determined from the type (Claim 5), if the mobile communication network is a plurality of mobile communication networks (100 to 10n), the call from which of the networks is selected. Since it can be determined from the number (claim 6), a response signal is sent to the corresponding communication network. Also, if the call is not from the mobile communication network (100 to 10n) but from the private system (1) itself, the private system
Send a response signal to (1). At this time, a self-employed system
In (1), call processing from a known mobile station is performed. When the mobile station 6 returns a response signal to the mobile communication network (100), the private system (1) side does not expect a response signal.
The connection process for receiving a call signal is not involved (claim 4), and the connection process for known response is performed between the mobile station 6 and the mobile communication network (100). As described above, according to the present invention, the mobile station (6) uses the Pch from the private system (1).
By waiting only for the call, the call signal from the (public) mobile communication network can be received, and it is not necessary to wait for Pch from the mobile communication network in parallel. Therefore, the mobile station
6 The power consumption during standby can be reduced, the usable time of the power supply battery becomes longer than before, and the convenience for users is improved.

The 1 and 1'PDC receivers receive Pch of a paging signal from a specific PDC network 100 designated in advance, like the receiver of a terminal of a PDC network which is a known digital portable telephone system. To receive. The method of designating the PDC network for transmitting the Pch is the same as in the case of the conventional mobile phone terminal, using the separately prepared ID writing device and the receiver.
It may be written in the non-volatile memory of 1,1 ', or from the maintenance console of the digital PBX which is not shown in FIG.
Writing may be performed via the I / O of the input / output interface 3 in FIG. When Pch is received from the PDC network 100,
The PDC receiver 1, 1 ′ notifies the paging signal included in the received Pch to the PDC termination control unit 9 in the CC of the PBX 6 by way of the I / O of 3. PDC receiver newly installed from PDC network 100 to private mobile phone system (1)
As shown in (a) PDC calling signal of FIG. 3A, the structure of the calling signal to 1,1 'is such that each message type has a structure of 8 bits (for example, the function of a transfer message such as call setup or call release message is identified. Used for this purpose), BCCH reception section length (section length on the superframe where the broadcast channel BCCH should be received), the number of calling mobile stations, mobile station numbers, and incoming call identification numbers, the details of which are the Radio System Development Center. 4.3.5.2.2 (Paging) of standard STD-27 issued by RCR
Stipulated in The PDC incoming control unit 9 uses the PDC network 10
The mobile station number for PDC included in the ringing signal from 0,
Referring to the number conversion table 10 in FIG.
It is converted into a PS number used as a calling number for HS. Then, when the PS number is notified to the location information management unit 8, the location information management unit 8 uses which base station 4 to call the mobile station 11 which is also a privately-owned PHS, as in the conventional privately-owned PHS. Select whether or not to do, PDC incoming call control unit 9
Notify to The PDC incoming call control unit 9 generates a calling signal for the private PHS. As shown in (b) PHS call signal of FIG. 3, the PHS call signal of the private-use PHS has a type of call service of 8 bits each, PS number (mobile station number),
It consists of the incoming call identification number and the notification reception instruction (necessary / unnecessary), and the details are in 4.3.4.3 of the standard STD-28 issued by RCR.
(Incoming message). Then, the PS number is set in the PS number field of the calling signal. In order to transmit the number given to the calling signal by the PDC network to the mobile station 11, the PDC network is set in the incoming identification number field.
Copy the incoming call identification number included in the ringing signal from 100. Furthermore, the mobile station 11 indicates that the incoming call is from the PDC network 100.
PHS / PDC to PHS call signal to identify
The identification information of is added. In this embodiment, the mobile station 11 is made to identify an incoming call from the PDC network 100 by setting an option value (11X) of the type of call service. The private PHS call signal to the mobile station 11 is transmitted to the base station interface device.
Notify the base station device 4 via 5 and set the P
It is transmitted to 11 mobile stations by ch. Mobile station 11
The mobile phone PS is connectable to both the PDC network 100 and the private PHS (1). Reference numeral 12 denotes an incoming call control unit of the mobile station 11 according to the present invention, which distinguishes an incoming call from the PDC network 100 from an incoming call from the private PHS (1), and a connection control unit of each PHS / PDC.
It works to pass the PS number to 13/14. The PHS connection control unit 13 performs connection processing (call origination / location, location registration, etc.) as in the case of a conventional mobile station of a private PHS. The PDC connection control unit 14 performs the same connection processing as that of a conventional PDC mobile station. The number conversion table 15 holds data that the incoming call control unit 12 refers to when receiving an incoming call. Above 12-15
Is realized by software on the CPU of the mobile station 11.
The incoming call control unit 12 of the mobile station 11 performs the same standby operation as the mobile station of the conventional private PHS, and the private telephone system (1)
The Pch transmitted from the PHS base station 4 is received. When the mobile station 11 receives the Pch from the base station 4, the incoming control unit 12 determines that the PHS in the received Pch call signal.
/ Refers to the identification information (call type) of PDC, and transmits a call signal to the PHS connection control unit 13 in the case of a PHS incoming call.
The PHS connection control unit 13 communicates with the base station 4 of the private PHS (1) and responds to the incoming call by the same operation as that of the conventional mobile station of the private PHS as follows. In the case of an incoming call from the PDC network 100, the incoming call control unit 12 converts the ringing signal received by the mobile station 11 into the format of the PDC network 100. Therefore, the number conversion in the incoming call control unit of the mobile station of FIG. Referring to the table 15, the own PS number of the PHS call signal received by the mobile station 11 is determined by the PDC.
It is converted to the own mobile station number of the network 100 and set as a calling signal of the PDC network 100. The incoming identification number is the same as the PDC network 10
Copy to 0 ringing signal. Thus, the PDC call signal generated by the incoming call control unit 12 of the mobile station 11 is transmitted to the PDC connection control unit 14
Communicate to The PDC connection control unit 14 of the mobile station 11 performs the same operation as the call reception sequence of the conventional PDC mobile station from the response signal (received radio status report), and thereafter, the PDC network 100
And respond to incoming calls. These operations are shown in the sequence diagram of FIG.
