A magnetic head pressing mechanism for a camera, comprising: a pressing member that comes into contact with the film at two locations to press the magnetic storage portion of the film against the head; and an elastic member that biases the pressing member in the pressing direction. A magnetic head pressing mechanism for a camera, wherein the pressing member is attached so as to be swingable around a contact portion, which is in contact with the elastic member when its position is changed.
