となく定着手段の搬送速度に規制でき、転写紙が定着手
段を抜け出た後は排紙ローラ群によって転写紙を高速で
排紙搬送させることでファーストコピー時間の短縮化を
図ることができ、特に、定着手段と下流側ローラ群との
間に位置して定着手段と同速で駆動される上流側ローラ
群には転写紙を媒介とする速度切換手段が介在されてい
るので、連続的に通紙される場合であっても、先行する
転写紙は減速させることなくそのまま下流側ローラ群に
よって高速で排紙搬送させることができ後続の転写紙は
定着手段により規制される搬送速度により搬送させるこ
とができ、よって、装置構成に制約を加えることなく、
転写紙を高速排紙させることができ、ファーストコピー
時間の短縮効果が常に得られる。
