When the segments 3 having the joining cylinder 2 are joined by the joining rod 1, one end of the joining rod 1 is inserted into the joining barrel 2 of one of the segments 3 and the inserted joining is performed. The segments 3 are brought close to each other so that the other end of the rod 1 is inserted into the joining pipe 2 of the other segment 3, and both ends of the joining rod 1 are inserted into the joining pipes 2 of the respective segments 3. From this state,
Further, the segments 3 are brought close to each other, and the joint surfaces 3a of the segments 3 are brought into contact so that the concave portions 15 and the convex portions 16 of the respective segments 3 fit into each other. By doing so, as shown in FIG. 4, the protrusions 6 provided on the bottom plate 7 of the joining cylinder 2 enter the holes 1a of the joining rods 1 inserted into the joining cylinders 2 of the respective segments 3, This protrusion 6
Both end portions of the joining rod 1 in which the slits 4 are formed are expanded to the outer peripheral side, and the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1 is expanded to the bottom portion of the engaging portion 11 formed in a sawtooth shape. When pressed, the saw teeth of the engaging portion 11 bite into the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1, and the joining rod 1 is securely engaged with the joining cylinder 2. Then, when the joining rod 1 is engaged with the joining cylinder 2 in this way, the segments 3 are reliably joined together by this engaging force.

With this, compared with the conventional structure in which the bolt is inserted into the hole formed in the joint surface of the joint to fasten the nut, the labor required for the joint work can be significantly reduced. It is possible to facilitate automatic assembly by a robot. Further, since the inner peripheral surface serving as the engaging portion 11 of the joining cylinder 2 is provided with the sawteeth which bite into the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1 made of mild steel, an extremely large engaging force can be obtained. Further, tapered portions 12 and 13 that narrow toward the insertion direction of the joining rod 1 are formed around the inner edge portion of the joining tube 2 and the inner circumference of the tip end of the joining tube 2. Since a slight clearance is provided between the surface and the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1 to be inserted,
The joining rod 1 can be easily inserted into the joining cylinder 2. That is, the work of inserting the joining rod 1 into the joining cylinder 2 can be facilitated, and the efficiency of the joining work can be improved. Further, since the joining cylinder 2 into which the joining rod 1 is fitted is provided in the segment 3, for example, there is no directionality of the segment 3 as compared with one in which the joining rod 1 is embedded,
In particular, as shown in FIG. 5, when the above-mentioned joining structure is used for the trapezoidal segment, it is possible to make the segments common and the molds for molding the segments common, and to improve the efficiency of the assembly work. be able to. Further, if the joining rods 1 are inserted into the joining cylinders 2 of the segments to be joined, these segments 3 can be joined to each other, and thus the segments 3 to be joined to each other.
Even if the axes of the joining cylinder 2 are slightly deviated from each other, a reliable joining state can be obtained.

In the above joining structure, the concave portion 15 and the convex portion 16 are formed on the one joining surface 3a of the segment 3 to eliminate the directivity of the segment 3. However, as shown in FIG.
The concave portion 15 may be formed on the one joint surface 3a side and the convex portion 16 may be formed on the other joint surface 3a. Further, in the above joining structure, only the inner peripheral surface of the joining cylinder 2 is formed in a sawtooth shape, but only the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1 or both the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1 and the inner peripheral surface of the joining cylinder 2 are formed in a sawtooth shape. It may be formed in. FIG. 7 shows a structure in which a saw tooth is provided by forming a spiral projection on the outer peripheral surface of the joining rod 1, and according to the structure in which the saw tooth shape is formed on the outer peripheral side as described above, Can be facilitated. Further, this joining rod 1 has a solid structure at its central portion to enhance shear resistance.

Further, as shown in FIG. 8, a protrusion 6 formed in a trapezoidal cone shape for expanding the diameter of the engaging portion 11 of the joining rod 1,
It is also possible that the joining rod 1 is fitted in the hole 1a of the joining rod 1 in advance and then the joining rod 1 fitted with the protrusion 6 is inserted into the joining cylinder 2 of the segment 3 that joins with each other. In this way, the joining rod 1
According to the structure in which the protrusion 6 is attached to the side, the hole 1a of the joining rod 1 can be protected and the productivity of the joining cylinder 2 can be improved. Further, in order to join the segments 3 to each other by the joining rod 1, as shown in FIG. 9, the joining rod 1 is previously inserted into the joining cylinder 2 of the segment 3 to be assembled, and the joining rod projected from the segment 3 is joined. It suffices to contact each other while inserting 1 into the joining cylinder 2 of the already assembled segment 3. In this case, it is possible to facilitate the insertion into the joining cylinder 2 by forming the projection 6 to be attached in advance in a tapered shape on the front side in the insertion direction. The number of slits 4 formed in the joining rod 1 is not limited to the above number, and for example, two or three slits 4 may be formed as shown in FIG.
