Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate contact of a lead of a fan motor with a reactor by a method wherein an upper part of an electric component is mounted on a partition plate through a fixed plate and a groove is formed to place and house the lead of the fan motor on the fixed plate. SOLUTION: An electric component box 17 is placed on a stage part 15 of a partition plate 11 to divide a machine chamber 14 housing an air path 10 running through an outdoor heat exchanger 5, a compressor and the like. The electric component box 17 is mounted on an auxiliary plate part 18 of the partition plate 11 through a fixed plate 27. A control substrate 22 in the electric component box 17 is provided with a connector 23 for connection to a lead 21 of a fan motor. A U-shaped groove 30 is formed on the fixed plate 27 positioned between the auxiliary plate part 18 and the electric component box 17 and above the reactor 19 there. The lead 21 of the fan motor is housed into the groove 30. This keeps the lead 21 from being slackened to eliminate contact with the reactor below it thereby enabling protection securely from the reactor generating high temperature heat.
