Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent removal of a flat cable from a connector by fixing a cover which can be mounted removably with respect to a barrier wall, e.g. a side plate or a housing, impeding the wiring of a flat cable to an opening and holding the flat cable between the outer edge part of cover and the inner edge part of opening and securing the flat cable in place. SOLUTION: An opening 300b large enough to pass a flat cable 600 is made through the side face of a housing 300, i.e., a barrier wall for the wiring of flat cable 600. The opening 300b is fixed with a cover 700 large enough to close the opening 300 removably from the housing 300a. The flat cable is held between the outer edge part of cover 700 and the inner edge part of opening 300b and securing in place. This structure prevents removal of the flat cable 600 from a connector thus preventing intrusion of foreign matter or dust into the housing 300a.
