For this reason, the high frequency supplied from the high frequency oscillator through the transmission line cannot sufficiently excite the antenna, a leak current is generated in the transmission line, and the transmission line and the handpiece become abnormal after a long use time. There is a risk of being heated, etc., and there was a limitation in use. Further, since the high frequency is not efficiently transmitted to the antenna, there is a possibility that the treatment performance is deteriorated.

(Operation) The basic principle is as follows. Since the area of the counter electrode plate 6 is considerably larger than the area of the high frequency antenna 2, when a high frequency wave is applied between the high frequency antenna 2 and the counter electrode plate 6, the current density becomes high.
It becomes the highest at the cutting edge, and only that part can be selectively treated.

On the other hand, the impedance matching device 7 is a network composed of passive elements such as a coil L, a capacitor C, and a resistor R, and thereby impedance matching between the high frequency antenna 2 and the transmission line 3 is achieved. Here, it is difficult to perfectly match the impedances of the transmission line 3 and the high-frequency antenna 2 alone, but by providing an impedance matching device 7 with an element of an appropriate value interposed therebetween, the transmission line 3 and the high-frequency antenna 2 can be matched. 3 and high frequency antenna 2
Both impedances are matched.

(Effect) By matching the impedances of the transmission line 3 and the high frequency antenna 2, the high frequency energy transmitted from the high frequency oscillator 4 is efficiently radiated from the high frequency antenna 2 to the living body 5 through the transmission line 3. . In other words, the high-frequency energy supplied from the high-frequency oscillator 4 acts on the living body 5 without being reflected or leaked on the transmission line, so that the treatment efficiency is high. Also,
The high frequency oscillator 4 can be protected for the same reason.

Impedance matching between the loop-shaped electrode 35 of the high-frequency antenna 32 and the transmission line 33 formed of a coaxial cable cannot be taken as it is, but a substantially cylindrical conductor 36 is provided between them and the impedance is reduced to 1/4. Since the impedance matching device such as the wavelength sleeve is used, the microwave supplied from the transmission line 33 formed of the coaxial cable is efficiently radiated from the loop electrode 35 of the high frequency antenna 32.

Further, the loop electrode 35 can be used as a so-called high frequency snare. When a raised living tissue is applied to the loop electrode 35 and the sheath 37 is pushed out toward the high frequency antenna 32, the loop electrode 35 is narrowed down into a small loop shape, and the living tissue can be bound. When microwaves are radiated from the high frequency antenna 32 in this state, the ligated portion is coagulated by the microwaves and excised, so that tissues such as polyps of the stomach and intestines and esophageal varices can be excised noninvasively. ..

(Modification) The high frequency antenna 32 of the third embodiment is constituted by the loop electrode 35 connected to the center conductor 34 of the coaxial cable which constitutes the transmission line 33. A bipolar antenna may be constructed by providing an anode and a cathode, like the high frequency antenna in the second embodiment. As for the arrangement of the anode and the cathode, it is conceivable that both electrodes are arranged along the loop wire, or that one side portion of the loop wire is used as an anode and the other side portion is used as a cathode and are separately provided. The loop wire itself may be formed of a conductive wire. Further, an annular ferrite bead may be provided on the coaxial cable portion of the transmission line 33 near the high frequency antenna.

As described above, according to the present invention, an impedance matching device is provided between the high frequency antenna and the transmission line to achieve impedance matching between the high frequency antenna and the transmission line so that the high frequency antenna can be efficiently transferred from the transmission line. Since the high frequency is supplied, the loss of the high frequency in the transmission line is reduced, the risk of abnormal heat generation of the transmission line is reduced, and the high frequency oscillator can be protected. Moreover, high frequency can be efficiently supplied to the antenna to enhance the processing capability.

1. A high-frequency treatment device comprising a high-frequency antenna for treating a living body with a high-frequency wave, a high-frequency oscillator for supplying a high-frequency wave to the high-frequency antenna, and a transmission line connecting the high-frequency oscillator and the high-frequency antenna. A high-frequency therapeutic device characterized in that an impedance matching device is provided between the antenna and the transmission line so that impedance matching can be achieved between the high-frequency antenna and the transmission line.
