Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire with high degree of safety by forming a protecting shield with a primary flying fragment preventing hole and concurrent serving as a vent hole for glass fragments of a lamp broken and scattered. SOLUTION: A luminaire has a mainbody 1 with at least one face open and a reflecting mirror 4 arranged facing to the opening face of the mainbody 1 to reflect light emitted from a lamp 5 to specified direction. In this case, a protecting shield 8 is mounted thereof for the lamp 5 broken during lighting. The protecting shield which has a primary flying fragment preventing hole and concurrently serving as a vent hole 10 to prevent the scattering of primary flying fragments 9 of the lamp 5 when broken is provided on the opening face of the mainbody 1.

Although the addition of a protective shield increases the safety against lamp breakage, the temperature inside the main body of the fixture may become too high. The present invention provides a lighting fixture with higher safety, in which a protective shield is provided with a vent hole for preventing the primary flying fragments from breaking and scattering of a lamp.

[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] Conventionally, a protective shield is not provided at the light emitting side opening of the main body of the lamp, and the lamp is damaged due to a low-quality lamp, mishandling when replacing the lamp, improper use of the appliance, etc. It is highly probable that the lamp fragments will scatter around the bottom surface of the fixture body in the event of damage, so it is necessary to provide a protective shield to prevent any scattering. Must be prevented from scattering and falling. Therefore, in order to satisfy the above-mentioned need, a protective shield made of glass is used to prevent primary flying debris and also serves as a ventilation hole. By making the shield glass double and opening the ventilation holes of the top glass and the bottom glass at the upper and lower positions, it is possible to prevent the scattering of primary flying fragments and the falling of fragments, as well as the ventilation inside the instrument body, so the temperature The rise was also suppressed.

The equipment main body is roughly classified into a type which is embedded in a ceiling material and a type which is directly attached. The direction of irradiation is fixed in the type of embedded mounting. In the direct mounting type (spotlight type), the irradiation direction can be changed within a certain range. The only common point is that it is attached to the ceiling material, but when the lamp is damaged due to some influence, the angle direction of the lamp is diverse, so that the primary flying shards are prevented from scattering outside the fixture body. By attaching a protective shield that also serves as pores, it is possible to retain the primary flying shard glass inside the device, which is safe.

EXAMPLES Examples of the present invention will be described below. First, the cross-sectional views shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 show general usage. An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS.
FIG. 3 shows a protective shield 8 that is attached to the opening on the light emitting side of the luminaire main body 1 to prevent primary flying fragments 9 when the lamp 5 is damaged.
It is also effective to suppress the temperature rise in the equipment by using a glass that is resistant to heat and temperature changes and arranging one glass at the top and one at the bottom as shown in the drawing and opening a certain number of holes 10. 1 each on top and bottom
By arranging the holes 10 formed by arranging a certain number of holes so as not to overlap the upper and lower surfaces, it is possible to prevent the primary flying fragments 9 from scattering outside the instrument body 1. FIGS. 4 and 5 show a state in which the direct attachment type lighting fixture and the embedded type lighting fixture are equipped with the protective shield 8 for preventing primary flying fragments 9 and also serving as a vent hole shown in FIG. If the lamp 5 should be damaged in such a state,
Lamp fragments 9 are scattered as shown in FIG. By retaining the broken pieces 9 in the instrument body 1, the area directly under the instrument and its surroundings can be protected from the danger zone, which has a great effect on safety. Further, since it is necessary to consider the rise in the temperature inside the equipment by mounting the protective shield 8, the holes 10 are opened in the upper and lower glasses as described above, and consideration is given as shown in FIG.

According to the present invention, since it is possible to prevent the primary flying shard glass from scattering and falling outside the equipment when the lamp is damaged, there are safety effects such as danger avoidance. In addition, of course, the temperature rise of the instrument body becomes severe, but since it also serves as the primary flying debris prevention and the ventilation hole, it has an effect of suppressing an extreme temperature rise.
