翔破片の飛散と落下を防止しなければならない。よつて
前述の必要性を満足するべくガラスによる保護シールド
で一次飛翔破片防止兼通気孔兼用保護シールドを器具本
体開口面、いわゆるランプ放射光側に取り付けることに
より器具本体内部の温度が上昇するため保護シールドガ
ラスを二重として上面ガラスと下面ガラスの通気孔を上
・下ずらした位置にあけておくことにより一次飛翔破片
の飛散と破片落下の防止及び器具本体内部の通気性も可

り器具内温度上昇の抑制にも効果がある。上・下に各1
枚配して一定数量あけた孔10は上・下面ラップしない
様に配することで一次飛翔破片9の器具本体1外飛散も
防止する効果がある。図4と図5は直付形照明器具と埋
込形照明器具に図3に図示した一次飛翔破片9防止兼通
気孔兼用保護シールド8を装着した状態である。その様
な状態の中において万一、ランプ5破損した場合、図6
に示す様にランプ破片9が飛散する。この破片9を器具
本体1内に留めることにより、器具直下や周囲を危険帯
から保護することがため安全性に絶大な効果がある。ま
た保護シールド8を装着することにより器具内温度上昇
に対する考慮が必要であるため前述した通り上・下のガ
ラスに孔10をあけ図7に示す通り配慮するものであ

れる光を特定方向に反射する反射鏡を備えた照明器具に
おいて、点灯中のランプ破損時の保護シールドを取り付
けランプ破損時のその一次飛翔破片の飛散を防止する一
次飛翔破片防止兼通気孔を有する保護シールドを器具本
体開口面に設けたことを特徴とする照明器具。1.
