Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an adverse effect by a reflected light from a screen when a fine photosensitive plate making is performed, in a screen process printing method. SOLUTION: This screen for screen process printing is formed of a braided fine metal wire such as stainless steel, with the surface treated in black using a black chrome plating or a black nickel plating method, or colored by electrodeposition painting or metal printing. Thus a reflected light generated when exposed to light for plate making is suppressed.

2. Description of the Related Art As is well known, screen printing is a typical one of stencil printing, in which a photosensitive film is applied to a screen made of synthetic fibers or stainless wire, exposed with a film having a printed pattern, and developed. To form a printing plate with minute holes in the screen, and is used for printed wiring, pressure film IC circuit formation, and the like.

By the way, printed wiring, thick film IC circuits and the like are required to have finer printing techniques as described above in order to increase the degree of circuit integration. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the exposure technology of the plate making, but the reflected light from the screen at the time of exposure interferes, and the width of the wiring part of the plate made by the plate making becomes unstable, for example, and the circuit is different from the design characteristics. Occurs. Therefore, the present invention proposes a screen that suppresses reflected light.

A screen printing screen according to the present invention is characterized in that it is formed by weaving fine metal wires such as stainless wires, and that the surface of the screen is subjected to a coloring treatment for reducing light reflection. In particular, it is characterized in that it is formed by applying black chrome plating or black nickel plating as a coloring treatment, or is painted in a predetermined color by an electrodeposition coating means.

Therefore, the surface of the screen is colored, the light reflectance is reduced, and the gloss of the surface is erased. Therefore, when the plate is exposed after the photosensitive material is applied, the light reflected from the screen is reflected. Thus, the desired plate original (plate film) can be copied onto the screen with the boundary of the exposed portion being clear.

BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described. The screen to be colored is formed by knitting stainless fine wires, and attaches it to an appropriate mold,
Ordinary industrial chrome plating, where the work piece (screen) is electrolytically degreased and washed with water, then immersed in an aqueous solution of chromic acid, and then immersed in a plating bath to energize the chrome on the screen. Is to be electrodeposited. The bath composition, plating conditions (bath temperature, current density, energizing time), etc. of the above-mentioned plating treatment can be appropriately determined by examining the fineness of the screen, etc. The plated film is formed as thin as possible so that the effectiveness is not impaired. However, it goes without saying that the thickness of the plated film is such that reflected light can be suppressed.

Therefore, the surface of the screen becomes black and the reflected light is reduced. Needless to say, nickel plating may be applied in addition to the chrome plating described above.

Further, in addition to the above-mentioned plating treatment, the coloring treatment of the screen is performed by immersing the screen in an aqueous coating solution,
A so-called electrodeposition coating means may be employed in which the screen is connected to the anode and the paint tank is used as the cathode to apply a predetermined high voltage. In particular, when the electrodeposition coating means is adopted, there is an advantage that the coloring color can be arbitrarily selected. Further electroless plating,
Other coloring means such as surface chemical treatment may be applied.

INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY As described above, according to the present invention, the surface of a screen formed by knitting fine metal wires such as stainless steel wires is colored to reduce the reflectance. It is possible to easily realize fine and clear plate making by eliminating interference due to reflected light at the time.
