(Prior Art) Generally, since a freight vehicle such as a truck often travels in an environment with a lot of dust, the intake air of the engine is not air near the surface containing much dust, but is sufficiently high above the surface. It is desirable to take in a relatively clean portion of the air. Therefore, the one provided with a so-called snorkel type intake pipe extending upward along the rear wall of the cab of a truck or the like has already been put into practical use.

Now, an example of a conventional truck having a snorkel type intake pipe will be described with reference to a schematic side view of FIG. 1 and a longitudinal sectional view of an essential part of FIG. 2 showing an embodiment of the present invention for convenience. Reference numeral 10 generally indicates a cab of the truck, 12 is a rear outer wall or rear panel of the cab 10, and 14 is a rear panel.
It is an intake pipe made of a hollow cylindrical body that is mounted by extending vertically along 12. A cap member 16 is provided at the upper end opening of the intake air intake pipe 14 in order to prevent rainwater and fallen leaves from being sucked in, and at the lower end of the intake air intake pipe 14, the chassis frame 18 side is provided. An expandable bellows pipe 22 for connecting the intake pipe 14 is attached to an intake intake passage member 20 connected to an intake pipe of an engine (not shown). Above bellows tube
In order to prevent the bellows tube from being crushed due to the pressure difference between the negative pressure of the engine intake system and the body pressure inside the inside of 22 to prevent the intake passage area from being reduced, an annular member 24 for maintaining the sectional shape is provided. It is inserted at an appropriate interval in the vertical direction, and as an example in the case of FIG. 2, five annular members 24 are inserted in every other large diameter portion 22 'of the bellows. (It should be noted that the partition plate indicated by reference numeral 26 in FIG. 2, the lateral wall 28, the inclined plate 34, etc. are based on the present invention and have not been provided conventionally.) In the above conventional snorkel type intake intake device Since the intake intake pipe 14 generally has a large cross-sectional area, a thin wall thickness, and relatively low rigidity, intake noise of a frequency proportional to the engine speed is likely to occur, and this vibration is caused by the cab. Ten
Occasionally, an unpleasant muffled sound that was transmitted to the vehicle and impaired habitability was generated. Further, due to the vertical movement of the cab 10 and the fluctuation of the intake negative pressure that occur during traveling, the bellows tube 22 expands and contracts significantly in the vertical direction and expands and contracts in the lateral direction. It came off from the large diameter part 22 'and dropped downward. There was a problem that the desired cross-sectional shape could not be maintained and the smooth flow of intake air into the engine was hindered.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) The present invention effectively reduces intake noise, which is a problem of the above-described conventional snorkel-type intake device, and prevents the cross-sectional shape retaining annular member inserted in the bellows tube. It is an object of the present invention to provide an engine intake air intake device for a vehicle, which is capable of effectively preventing an increase in distribution resistance of engine intake air due to crushing of the bellows pipe by preventing the falling off.

(Means for Solving the Problem) In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is directed to an intake intake pipe formed of a hollow cylindrical body vertically arranged along an outer wall of a cab, and a lower end opening of the intake intake pipe. A telescopic bellows tube that is attached to the end and connects the intake air intake pipe to the intake air intake passage of the engine, and an annular member that is inserted in the pipe to maintain the cross-sectional shape of the bellows pipe. In the intake intake pipe, a side branch for reducing intake noise is formed which is partitioned by a partition plate extending in the axial direction and a lateral wall arranged at the upper end of the partition plate, and the partition plate Has a lower end portion thereof extended into the bellows tube and inserted into a slit formed in the annular member so as to be freely slidable relative to each other. (Operation) According to the present invention, the upper end is closed and the lower end is opened by the partition plate extending in the axial direction and the lateral wall disposed at the upper end of the partition plate inside the intake air intake pipe. Since the side branch is formed, intake noise can be reduced by appropriately selecting the vertical height and volume of the side branch. Further, the rigidity of the intake intake pipe is increased by providing the partition plate and the lateral wall for partitioning the side branch inside the intake intake pipe, and the intake noise is suppressed also from this point. Further, since the lower end portion of the partition plate extends inside the bellows tube and is inserted into the slit provided in the shape-maintaining annular member, the annular member is effectively prevented from falling off.

(Embodiment) An embodiment of the present invention will be specifically described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. (It should be noted that re-statement is omitted for the matters already described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2 regarding the conventional snorkel type air intake device.) According to the present invention, a longitudinal sectional view of an essential part of FIG. Also, as best shown in the cross-sectional view of FIG. 3, a partition plate 26 extending axially inside the intake intake pipe 14 is provided.
, And one of the two passages divided by the partition plate 26 is closed by a lateral wall 28 arranged at the upper end of the partition plate. That is, a side branch 30 whose upper end is closed and whose lower end is open is formed inside the intake intake pipe 14 by the partition plate 26 and the lateral wall 28.

In the above structure, the intake air of the engine (not shown) arranged below the cab 10 flows into the intake pipe through the gap between the cap member 16 and the intake intake pipe 14, and then from the bellows pipe 22 to the engine side. Flows into the intake pipe of the engine through the intake air intake passage member 20. Since the side branch 30 partitioned by the partition plate 26 and the lateral wall 28 is formed in the intake intake pipe 14, the height and the volume of the side branch are appropriately set in advance, so that the cab 10 The intake noise that causes the muffled noise can be effectively reduced. Further, by disposing the partition plate 26 and the lateral wall 28 forming the side branch 30 in the intake intake pipe 14, the rigidity of the intake intake pipe itself is increased, and also from this point, reduction of intake noise is achieved. .

On the other hand, since the lower end portion 26 'of the partition plate 26 is formed to extend inside the bellows tube 22 and is inserted through the slit 32 of the annular member 24 inserted in the bellows tube 22, the running Due to the vertical expansion / contraction or (and) lateral expansion / contraction of the bellows tube 22 generated therein, the movement of the annular member 24 which largely tilts with respect to the axis of the bellows tube 22 and tries to escape from the large diameter portion 22 'is suppressed. As a result, falling is prevented. Since the fall of the annular member 24 is prevented, there is no problem that the bellows tube 22 is crushed by the differential pressure between the internal intake negative pressure and the external body pressure,
The engine intake air smoothly flows through the bellows pipe and is taken into the engine. Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent an increase in intake flow resistance due to the crush of the bellows tube 22, that is, a decrease in intake efficiency, a decrease in engine output, and the like.

(Effects of the Invention) As described above, the vehicle engine intake intake device according to the present invention includes an intake intake pipe formed of a hollow cylindrical body vertically arranged along the outer wall of the cab, and the intake intake pipe. An expandable bellows pipe that is attached to the lower end opening end of the inlet pipe and connects the intake pipe to the intake passage of the engine; and an annular member that is inserted into the pipe to maintain the cross-sectional shape of the bellows pipe. In what comprises, in the intake pipe, a side branch for reducing intake noise is formed, which is partitioned by a partition plate extending in the axial direction and a lateral wall arranged at the upper end of the partition plate, Further, the partition plate is characterized in that the lower end portion thereof is extended into the bellows tube and is inserted so as to be freely slidable relative to each other in the slit formed in the annular member. Can be effectively reduced At the same time, the bellows tube can be prevented from being crushed and a sufficient intake passage area can be secured, which is practically useful.
