Claims (4)

【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】 発光管の両端に一対の電極を封着しアー
ク長を12mm以下に設定し、内部に水銀及び希ガスと共
に金属ハロゲン化物を封入してなり、該発光管の外周に
トリガ線を巻き付け、かつ高圧パルスを印加することに
より起動させるようにしてなるメタルハライドランプに
おいて、前記トリガ線は予め焼純処理を施こしてあるこ
とを特徴とするショートアークメタルハライドランプ。
1. アークメタルハライドランプを用いた光学装置。
