Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooking vessel for microwave oven by which a food such as popcorn accommodated in the vessel can be cooked uniformly and by which electric consumption can be saved due to shortened cooking time. SOLUTION: A cooking vessel has a main body 30a with a multiple-plane part 31a on the bottom surface and a vessel lid 30 which covers an aperture of the main body for exhausting hot air produced during cooking from the main body to outside and for preventing thrown out of the food from the main body to outside. By such constitution, the food such as popcorn accommodated inside can be cooked uniformly by means of high frequency wave injected through the bottom surface at various angles.
