飯容器自体は非磁性体であり誘導加熱されないために、
アルミ製炊飯容器に磁性体の鉄またはSUS430系ス
テンレス板をロウ付け等で取り付けて用いている。また
アルミ製炊飯容器に磁性体を取り付ける方法として色々
な形状に簡便に付けられる溶射法がある。このアルミ製
炊飯容器に磁性体を溶射法で付ける方法として従来は、
アルミ容器の外側底部にあらかじめ傾斜状の溝を設けて
鉄を溶射し、剥離しないように対策するもの(実公昭6
1−27107号公報)や、アルミ容器の底部に溶射に
より鉄等の磁性体を0.33〜0.80mmの厚さに設
け、さらにこの磁性体の表面に溶射でアルミ層を0.6
2〜0.20mmの厚さに形成し、防錆及び発熱効率の
向上を図るもの(実公平3−38798号公報)等が提
案されている。
