として働き、車両の停止時等に排出口13に蓋をし、外
部から車室内へ異物(埃,ゴミ等)の侵入を防止する役
割を担う。更に、走行中に窓を開けた時など、車室内圧
力が外圧より低くなると、フラップ2が排出口13に密
着して排気吸入を防いでいる。このような換気用ダクト
は、自動車のバンパー裏等に取付けられる。ところで、
クォーターベント等の換気用ダクトには、洗車時,雨天
時等で車室内への水入りを防ぐべく、図5,図6のよう
な水返し3が設けられる。水返し3は、一般に枠体1と
一体成形で造られるが、排出口13の補強リブ19の裏
面側がアンダーカット部になることから、通常、スライ
ドコア7を使用して型離れさせてきた。そして、水返し
