このようなことは、高速の新聞印刷機においては、特に重要なことである。DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION IMPROVEMENTS IN A PRINTING MACHINE OR IMPROVEMENTS IN A PRINTING MACHINE The present invention relates to improvements in a printing press or in a printing press, and more particularly to ink or other fluids on printing press rollers (hereinafter, to the extent content permits). (Referred to as ink). When changing colors in the printing field, it is necessary not only to switch one ink supply unit to another ink supply unit, but also to change the color from the previous supply path from various supply passages between the ink supply unit and the printing roller. It is necessary to remove the ink and clean these passages. The conventional method is to discard excess ink and allow a suitable cleaning agent to flow through the relevant passages. Not only does such a method stop the machine for a very long time, but the discarded ink is a substantial financial loss. GB-A-2258845 discloses a means for supplying ink to the printing rollers of a printing press, said means comprising an elongated ink rail and an ink in the rail extending in the longitudinal direction thereof. A chamber; a plurality of parallel supply passages in the rail, each of which has outlet orifices on a common surface of the rail and are provided with a gap therebetween; and means for controlling the flow of ink to the supply passages, The supply passage extends between the common surface and the ink chamber. Although the object of the present invention is not particularly limited to the ink or liquid supply means as described above, a means for easily and efficiently cleaning the ink supply means without discarding excess ink generated when changing colors is provided. To provide. According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a method for removing and / or recovering ink from an ink supply means of a printing machine when changing colors, wherein the ink supply means supplies ink from a supply unit. And having a cross-section of an elongated chamber defining an ink tank from which ink is delivered to a print roller, the method having a cross-section corresponding to the elongated chamber, wherein contact and sliding within the chamber. Preparing a plug that is movably mounted, and removing the ink in the chamber, preferably moving the plug in the longitudinal direction of the chamber to return the ink to the supply. And a method comprising the steps of: According to still another aspect of the invention, there is provided a method of changing color in an ink supply system of a printing press, wherein the ink supply system supplies ink from a supply and from which ink is printed by a printing roller. An elongate chamber defining an ink tank to be delivered to the ink, the ink being delivered from each of the supplies having different colors to opposite ends of the elongate chamber, the method being in the chamber, in the chamber. A plug that is slidably and slidably attached in the chamber, and that the plug is mounted in the longitudinal direction of the chamber so that the excess collar in the chamber can be removed and the replacement collar can be fed into the chamber. And the step of moving. According to a preferred feature of the invention, the plug is moved in the longitudinal direction of the elongated chamber by the supply pressure applied to the replacement ink. When changing colors, the plug traverses the entire length of the elongated chamber, but by moving the plug to only a portion of the length of the chamber, such chamber allows specific ink to reach each portion of the print roller. It should be understood that it can be delivered and can be operated to deliver different color inks to the balance of the chamber. If suitable locking means, for example a magnet, are provided, a plurality of plugs may be provided to divide the elongated chamber into individual parts and to feed individual inks to individual parts of the shaft of the printing roller. it can. In this case, the movement of the plug is performed by the pressure of the inflowing ink, and any means for supplying the ink to the middle portion of the chamber can be provided. The invention further comprises an apparatus for carrying out the above method. According to another aspect of the invention, there are provided parallel elongated ink rails, ink chambers within the rails and extending longitudinally thereof, and outlet orifices within the rails on a common surface of the rails, respectively. A plurality of supply passages provided through a gap, the supply passages extending between the common surface and the ink chamber, and being interference-fitted in the chamber and movable in the longitudinal direction of the chamber. An ink supply system for a printing press is provided that is characterized by a plug. The invention will now be illustratively detailed with reference to a simplified diagram depicting two examples: FIG. 1 is a simplified front view of a device for supplying ink to the printing rollers of a newspaper printing press; 2 is a cross-sectional view taken along the line II-II of FIG. 1; FIG. 3 is an enlarged cross-sectional view showing the plug in place in the ink chamber; FIGS. 4a-4c are modified apparatus. FIG. 7 is a side view showing a continuous process of cleaning the device and changing the color. Referring to the drawings, and particularly to FIG. 1, an ink supply device for a printing apparatus includes an ink rail 11 having a width equal to or larger than a width to be printed, and a supply device 12 for supplying ink to both ends of the rail. Each of the supply devices 12 and 13 includes an ink tank 14, a positive displacement pump 15 and a density control valve 16 of ink sent from the tank 14 by the pump 15. And from there ink is supplied to the rail 11. The ink rail 11 (see FIG. 2) is provided with an elongated and generally rectangular main body 17, and the main body 17 is disposed so as to be substantially in contact with a roller (not shown) to which ink is applied and to face each other. The surface 18 has a concave shape having a curvature similar to that of a roller and has an arc shape. Body 17 is preferably made of aluminum and is divided into upper and lower body portions 19, 21 along a horizontal centerline. The upper surface 22 of the lower body portion 21 has a groove 23 having a semicircular cross section, to which ink is sent from the flow control valve 16 through a supply pipe 24. The lower surface 25 of the upper body portion 19 has a semi-circular cross-section groove 26 similar to that formed in the lower body portion 21, and the grooves 23, 26 formed in each body portion are vertically Coincidentally, forming a cylindrical ink chamber 27 in the body. Compared to the lower body part 21, the upper body part 19 further has a groove 28 longitudinally and as an extension of the groove 26 to the body part. The groove 28 has a rectangular cross-section and is provided with a groove 28 for the purpose which will be clarified hereinafter. A plurality of stepped holes 29 are arranged in parallel in the upper body portion, extend parallel to the lower surface 25 of the body and extend over the entire width of the body. The stepped holes 29 pass across the groove 28, each stepped hole having an outer portion, a central portion and an inner portion with a gradually decreasing diameter. An inner portion 31 of each stepped hole is opened in a part of the concave surface 18 formed by the upper body portion 19, and this opening (not shown) is preferably curved when viewed in the longitudinal direction. And the center line of the opening of the stepped stepped hole 29 is aligned along the longitudinal direction of the main body, and becomes a single continuous opening whose depth gradually changes on the surface of the main body part. To form a part. Each stepped hole 29 receives the cylindrical key 32 inside. The cylindrical key 32 is movable in the axial direction of the stepped hole 29 and engageable with the side surface 33 of the groove 29. The keys are located on the outer side of each stepped hole 29 and are arranged in a sealed manner in a bush 34. The key meshes with the outer side portion of the stepped hole 29 and is movable with respect to the side surface. The bush 34 has a hexagonal brim formed on the outer end thereof, and the brim is engaged with the upper body portion 19. As a result, the bush 34 can be accurately positioned in the axial direction of the stepped hole 29. On the outside of the bush, the key 32 is fixed to a collar 35, and a control groove 36 is formed in a cylindrical end surface of the collar 35 to receive a radial pin 37 moved by a moving device 38. The moving device 38 is composed of a stepping motor, operates at 200 increments per rotation, and is drivingly connected to the key 32. The moving device 38 causes the key 32 to be formed in the longitudinal direction of the bush 34, that is, the step formed by the side surface 33. In contrast, it is rotated for selective adjustment. This concerns changing the cross-sectional area of the flow path between the groove 27 and the inner part 39 of the stepped hole 29. In use, the ink is delivered by the associated forward transfer pump 15 from one or the other supply device 12, 13 to the ink chamber 27 in the ink rail 11. Some of the ink delivered by the pump 15 goes to the chamber and the balance of the ink returned to the ink tank 14 follows the regulation of the flow control valve 16. The ink sent to the ink chamber 27 fills the chamber from its bottom and such chamber is filled and the ink is supplied to the roller only under pressure. Ink passes from the ink chamber 27 to the rollers through the inner portion 39 of each stepped hole 29 in the upper body portion 19. The feed rate at each position depends on the position of each key with respect to the adjacent end of such inner part. As can be appreciated, each key is individually controllable with respect to the feed rate depending on the setting of this key, and the feed rate of the ink rail is also adjustable as a whole In this case, the feed rate can be changed by adjusting the reciprocating valve device (The shuttle member). As described above, the structure is significantly different from the disclosure content of the above-mentioned prior application. The present invention contemplates providing a longitudinally controllable plug within the ink chamber, the plug 41 having a cylindrical shape and slidably but slidably fitted in the chamber 27. On the cylindrical surface of the plug is provided a groove for receiving and engaging the O-ring 42 as shown in FIG. 3, the O-ring being the opposite cylindrical surface of the plug and the chamber. It plays the role of sealing the space between them. When different colors of ink are supplied to the tanks at each end of the rail, the plug is located at one end of the ink chamber, the end being spaced from a supply means in use, It plays the role of separating the ink of each supply means 12 and 13. When the color needs to be changed, the plug moves in the longitudinal direction of the ink chamber due to the line pressure of the alternative ink, expelling the remaining ink from the chamber and returning it to the finished supply means. The seal between the plug formed by the O-ring and the chamber surface keeps the inks of the two ink supply means separated from each other, but the O-ring removes the ink from the surface of the chamber and the subsequent ink Avoid being polluted. Any ink that remains in the stepped hole 29 only in a minimal amount will be expelled by the new ink at the beginning of printing, and, in effect, contamination by the alternative color ink will occur after the printer is first run with the alternative ink. do not do. A means such as a magnet means is provided to provide a plug at an intermediate position between both ends of the chamber, so that it is possible to effectively feed two different color inks to each end of the printing machine in a state of being separated by the plugs. You can also As a further step, it is possible to use several plugs at the same time to divide the chamber by a corresponding number and to supply each part with the required color of ink in a suitable manner. If it is necessary to provide a device for cleaning the ink chamber, and also the printing machine itself, with a suitable cleaning liquid, the ink can be expelled from the chamber in a manner similar to that described above, but with a subsequent ink tube. Instead of using the line pressure to move the plug, the supply part of the cleaning liquid can be connected to the chamber and the pressure of the liquid can be used to move the plug. The cleaning liquid passes through the stepped holes and reaches the printing roll or the transport roll at any intermediate position, passes through the printing machine like ink and is applied to the printing roll to be used for cleaning. Another configuration and a series of operating processes for cleaning and color change are shown in FIGS. 4a to 4c. With reference to FIG. 4a, and the chamber 27 is initially filled with the first color ink fed from the pump 42 via the feed pipe 43, with the plug 41 at the right end of the chamber. Positioned, with the ink key (not shown) closed and the ink pump inactive, the cleaning agent is applied to the back of the plug and the plug is applied to the opposite end of the chamber. To move any excess ink out of the chamber and return it to the associated ink chamber. The ink key is then released and a passage is formed to the ink roller for the cleaning agent. After the required time has elapsed, the supply of cleaning liquid is stopped and compressed air is introduced into the chamber to bring the plug back to the right end. This movement drains the cleaning agent from the chamber. The compressed air also serves to blow out the cleaning agent remaining in the ink key from the key. The supply of compressed air is stopped and the valve that sends air to the chamber is closed. A pump 45, which pumps a second color of ink through the supply pipe 44 to the chamber, operates to fill the chamber with the second color of ink. Then, such ink is sent to the ink key (FIG. 4) and passes through. After pumping the ink for a predetermined time, the washing process is complete and the device is ready for printing. Appropriate valves, eg solenoid controlled valve opening and closing, can be provided to introduce cleaning liquid and compressed air as needed. The idea proposed herein is particularly used with the ink supply device of the above patent application, but the idea is that the ink is supplied to the printing roller or the transport roller in a substantially uniform cross section. It is applicable to any device with an ink chamber having a plug, in which case the plug has a cross section corresponding to the cross section of the chamber. The present invention can just recover a very large amount of ink that would otherwise be thrown away, thus allowing for significant financial savings. Furthermore, the present invention allows for easy color changes or cleaning with minimal machine downtime. This is especially important in high speed newspaper presses.
