排尿用具及びコンドーム
本発明は排尿用具及びコンドーム（以下では簡単に用具と呼ぶことあり）、そ
れも実質的に陰茎全体を被覆し、かつまた、その底部又は端部が排尿用の管片に
先細に移行している形式の用具に関するものである。
男性患者の排尿制御機能失調の場合、歩行患者、就床患者を問わず、予めむつ
き又はパッド、内部カテーテル又はコンドーム形式の排尿用具を用いる必要があ
る。前記コンドームは、その場合、患者が任意に身に着けた容器内へ排尿するた
めのチューブに接続されている。
むつき又は類似品の使用には、かなりの難点がある。たとえば、不快である上
に、ただれを生じ易い。むつき及びその類似品は歩行患者が動く場合に使用が限
定され、またかなりの費用も必要である。
他方、内部カテーテルの使用も、かなり不快な上に、痛みも伴うため、炎症そ
の他の身体反応の原因となることが多い。
チューブが連結されたコンドームは、それ自体では、困難な課題の良い解決策
であるが、コンドームが脱落しても患者が気付かないことが多い点が欠点である
。また、就床患者に見られる共通の現象は、陰茎とコンドーム壁との間から尿が
漏れることがある点で、これが不快の原因となっている。
ＤＥ−ＰＳ ５２０．４０１により公知のコンドーム形式の排尿用具の場合、
その意図するところは、コンドームを包皮をくるみ、コンドームの周囲に設けた
止めバンドによりコンドームを包皮に押圧することで定位置に保持することであ
る。
更にまた、別の公知排尿用具の場合には、包皮を巻上げた場合、コンドームの
止め具自体が包皮に対し接着作用を有するようにされている。この排尿用具の一
例が市販のコロプラスト（Coloplast）である。
以下に、このほかの公知形式を挙げることにする：
ＧＢ−Ａ１ ２，１２０，１０２に記載の接着テープの使用の場合、接着テー
プが使用中に陰茎に向く側に取付けられている。
ＧＢ−Ａ１ ２，１８１，９５３に記載の排尿用具の場合、接着テープがコン
ドーム内側に取付けられ、皮膚に当付けられるようにされている。
ＧＢ−Ａ１ ２，２０６，７９８に記載の排尿用具の場合には、接着層がコン
ドーム自体のかなり構成部分をなしている。
ＵＳ−Ａ１ ４，４７５，９０９に記載の排尿用具の場合は、用具周囲に延び
る接着テープを陰茎に接着させることで用具を陰茎に固定し、その後で用具本体
が陰茎に繰り拡げられる。
ＵＳ−Ａ１ ４，４７５，９１０に記載の排尿用具の場合、コンドーム全体が
、いずれにせよ２層に構成され、そのうちの内側の層が陰茎全体にわたって延び
、使用中、接着層として皮膚と接触する。
ＵＳ−Ａ１ ４，４８４，９１８に記載の接着剤の使用の場合、接着剤がクラ
ンプリングの内側に塗布されており、このクランプリングが陰茎にはめ込まれる
ことにより皮膚と接触せしめられる。
最後に、ＵＳ−Ａ１ ４，５４０，４０９に記載の、実質的にはＧＢ＝Ａ１２
，２０６，７９８と同型の用具の場合、自体公知の形式で、内側向きの接着テー
プが、使用中に利用される。
また、ＳＥ ８００４３５５−７及び８００４３５６−５の場合、包皮に対し
て付着させることによるこの種の接着効果が利用され、陰茎と用具との間からの
尿漏れが防止されている。
しかしながら、この種の公知技術の場合、限られた密封区域内に尿が溜まり、
陰茎のかなりの部分が、特に就床患者の場合には、１回に最高数時間、尿に接触
したままとなることが避けられない。
その結果、最悪の場合には細菌が増殖することがある。また、長時間にわたり
皮膚が尿に触れることは、純美観の上からも好ましくない。
ＮＯ−ＰＳ １４６−０１３により公知のコンドーム形式の排尿用具の場合に
は、その先端が、尿を排出させる管片に先細に移行しているが、もしくは管片に
接続されている。この場合、コンドームは陰茎頭部のみを被覆するように構成さ
れている。この公知排尿用具の特徴は、コンドーム又は管片に密封結合されたス
リーブ部材が、コンドーム先端部分から外方へ延びており、コンドームが陰茎頭
部を取囲み、包皮がコンドーム上にかぶせられると、スリーブ部材がコンドーム
と包皮との周囲を取囲むか、包み込むかする。
この後のほうの解決策は、きわめて巧みな、かつまた便利な技術的解決策だが
、１つの重大な欠点を有している。
すなわち、しばしば不可避的な勃起のさいに、不快かつ苦痛でさえある状態が
生じるという欠点である。この状態は、陰茎の伸張と、それに付随して包皮が後
方へ引張られることとに伴う張りのために生じる。包皮は、後方へ引張られるが
、排尿用具のコンドーム部分とスリーブ部分との間にロックされた状態であるた
め、自由な動きができない。
本発明の目的は、この公知形式を改良し、前記ＮＯ−ＰＳ １４６．０１３に
よる排尿用具の欠点を含む公知形式の欠点を克服することにある。
本発明は、したがって、事実上陰茎全体を被覆する十分な長さを有するコンド
ームとして形成された排尿用具、それもコンドーム先端が先細に排尿用管片に移
行している形式の用具に関するものであり、その特徴とする点は、使用時に外方
へ向く側に設けられた接着テープもしくは単数又は複数の接着面が、皮膚／包皮
を陰茎頭部の方向へ引き戻した場合に、そこに形成されるドレーントラップ又は
ラビリンスシールを固定するようにした点である。
本発明は、また、次の特徴を有するコンドームに関するものである。すなわち
、使用時に外方を向く側に接着テープ又は接着面（単数又は複数の）が備えられ
ており、皮膚／包皮が前方へ、つまり陰茎頭部方向へ引き戻された場合に、そこ
に形成されるドレーントラップ又はラビリンスシールが前記接着テープ又は接着
面により固定される特徴を有するコンドームである。
以下で、本発明を添付図面につき、より詳しく説明する。
第１図は本発明による排尿用具を繰り拡げた状態で示した図である。
第２図は第１図の排尿用具を巻き上げた状態で示した図である。
第３図は第１図の排尿用具を陰茎に装着した状態を示した図である。
第４図は包皮をコンドームの上に引き戻し、接着面で固定した状態を示した図
である。
本発明による用具は、その目的を達成するためには、極薄の材料製、好ましく
は、従来のコンドームの材料に実質的に類似した材料製にするのがよい。
このことは、特に陰茎を被覆する目的の部分１に適用される。これに対し、陰
茎頭部を被覆するじょうご形部分７と、排尿用の管片２とは、いくぶん厚手の材
料製にして、意図することなく折り重なったり押しつぶされたりすることのない
ようにするのが好ましい。したがって、材料は、用具が排尿具、コンドームいず
れに用いられるのかに応じて選定する。

第１図に示したように、本発明の用具は、排尿用具及びコンドームいずれの変
化形も接着テープ又は接着面５を備えている。使用者の皮膚／包皮が前方の陰茎
頭部のほうへ引張られると、接着テープ又は接着面５が、そこに形成されるドレ
ーントラップ又はラビリンスシール１０を固定する。これについては、第４図の
ところで後述する。
第２図は、第１図に示した用具を巻き上げた状態を示したものである。言いか
えると、陰茎を包むコンドーム本体１が巻上げられて、ロール４を形成している
。
第３図は、陰茎上に繰り伸ばされた用具と、陰茎頭部８のリム（亀頭）の前縁
に位置する接着面５とを示した図である。用具材料の弾性のため、用具は、比較
的しわの多い粘着性のずり動く皮膚９と皮下組織とを密に包み込んでおり、包皮
を前方へ送り出すことで、用具のスリーブ部分１を包皮ごと折りたたむようにし
て、接着面５と接触させ、そこに固着させる。
従来の措置に代わるこの措置により、完全に適切な漏れ防止が可能になる。
接着面５は、利用する前には除去可能な紙（図示せず）で覆っておくのが好ま
しい。
第３図、第４図に示した用具によって、公知形式による用具の場合に生じる問
題を解決することができる。
前述のように、意図通り機能させるため、用具は極薄材料製である。したがっ
て、勃起時にもスリーブ部分１は接着面５に固着されたままであり、そこに形成
されているラビリンスシールも維持される。
本発明の課題は、用具の使用を容易にし、かつまた勃起の場合を含む、あらゆ
る種類の漏れを適切に防止することにある。
この漏れの防止は、近年、ＨＩＶ／ＡＩＤＳ感染の危険が増大していることか
ら、次第に重要になってきている。
このため、この分野での、信頼性のある安全で、しかも簡単かつ廉価な医療用
具を開発することの重要性は、いくら強調しても、しすぎることはない。本発明
によるコンドーム変化形は、この分野での重要な進歩をなすものである。
更に、この種の用具の使用を余儀なくされている患者の苦痛を軽減し、かつ安
全性を高めることも、緊急に必要とされている。
この点においても、本発明の用具は、所望の密封効果を保証し、かつ偶然的な
漏れを低減させるものである。こうした密封効果により感染の危険は減少し、こ
の種の用具の使用を余儀なくされている患者の不快感が低減される。
本発明の用具では、勃起時、非勃起時いずれの場合にも、安全が維持され、か
つ不快感が低減され、それによって公知技術に比して著しい進歩がなされること
