Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance external appearance without damaging a feeling of one body with a headlamp by mounting a dummy reflecting plate having a corrugated or irregular diffused reflection surface in the auxiliary lamp housing. CONSTITUTION:A headlamp device 1 comprises an auxiliary chamber 2 capable of containing an auxiliary lamp, a lamp housing 5 provided with a main housing 4 for containing a headlamp and a lens 6 installed in the front opening 5a of the housing 5. A dummy reflecting plate 11 is mounted on a supporting boss part 10 projecting in the auxiliary chamber 2. The dummy reflecting plate is formed by bending a thin plate extending in the vertical direction so that its transverse cross section becomes a corrugated form and the corrugated form makes a diffused reflection surface 11a. When an auxiliary lamp is not used, costs can be more reduced as compared with a conventional reflector kept back because the dummy reflecting plate is mounted in the auxiliary chamber 2. The diffused reflection surface 11a of the dummy reflecting plate 11 is not limited to a corrugated form but can be formed into an irregular form.

In this case, if all the mounting parts of the auxiliary lamp 20 are removed, there is a problem that the appearance is deteriorated. Further, generally, in a headlamp device, when viewed from the front, light is diffusely reflected to improve the appearance. As a dummy structure that can meet these requirements, there is a method of removing only the bulb 26 of the auxiliary lamp 20 and leaving the reflector 24. There is also a method of mounting a flat plate such as SUS instead of the reflector 24. Furthermore, there is a method in which the housing main body 22 is subjected to reflection coating so as to improve the appearance in a state where all the mounting parts are removed.

However, since the reflector 24 is expensive, there is a problem that the method of leaving the reflector 24 causes an increase in cost, and the method of attaching the flat plate such as SUS causes light reflection. There is a problem that it is difficult to improve the appearance, and the method of performing the reflection coating impairs the sense of unity with the headlamp, which causes a problem that the appearance is deteriorated.

According to the present invention, when the auxiliary lamp is not used, the dummy reflector having the irregular reflection surface having the corrugated shape or the uneven shape is attached to the attachment portion of the auxiliary lamp. Therefore, the conventional reflector 24 is left. Cost can be reduced compared to
Further, compared with the case of a flat plate, the diffuse reflection surface can surely diffuse light to improve the appearance, and the feeling of unity with the headlamp can be maintained as compared with the case of the reflection coating, and the deterioration of the appearance can be avoided.

A support boss 10 is provided in the auxiliary chamber 2 in a protruding manner, and the dummy reflector 1 is mounted on the support boss 10.
1 is attached by a bolt 9. Like the main reflector 8, the dummy reflector 11 is for improving the appearance by reflecting light. The dummy reflector 11 is formed by bending a thin plate such as SUS into a corrugated cross section extending in the vertical direction as shown in the figure. Is equipped with a mounting flange portion 11b. The diffused surface 11a of the reflector 11 may be bent obliquely or horizontally. Further, the support boss portion 10 is set in a position and shape that does not hinder the mounting of the reflector 24 when the auxiliary lamp is adopted.

As described above, in this embodiment, when the auxiliary lamp is not used, the auxiliary chamber 2 of the lamp housing 5 is provided with the S.
Since the dummy reflection plate 11 having a waveform of US or the like is attached, the cost can be reduced as compared with the conventional method of leaving the reflector. Further, the corrugated reflecting surface 11a can more reliably diffusely reflect light than when a flat plate is used, and the same glaring feeling as that of the headlamp 3 side portion can be obtained. Headlamp 3 compared to
It is possible to maintain a sense of unity with and to prevent the appearance from deteriorating.
