Immediately before the occurrence of a large earthquake, it is said that there is some kind of foreshadowing, as reported in various newspapers and magazines. One of the foreknowledge is a few seconds to a dozen seconds of a large earthquake with a seismic intensity of 5 to 7. It is said that there are many cases where there is a tremor with a seismic intensity of about 2 to 3. Therefore, the occurrence of a shaking with a seismic intensity of about 2 to 3 such as this foretell is detected and notified to the sleeping person, and based on the notification, it is predicted that the next big earthquake will occur even for a short time of several seconds to several tens of seconds. Then, if you take evacuation measures such as opening the door, lying down under a table, etc., you can minimize human damage.

[0005] Several compact devices for detecting an earthquake and reporting it with a buzzer have been proposed in the past, and a typical example thereof is Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-105039. This indoor vibration sensor disclosed in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 63-105039 has an iron pendulum 11 connected via a conductive indicator rod 12 above a supporting sphere 14 held at a fixed position and at the same time, An iron pendulum 18 is suspended by a flexible conductive member below, and the donut type magnetic bodies 10 and 16 are provided around the upper and lower iron pendulums 11 and 18, and the iron pendulum is normally used.
Set 11 and 18 so that they are located at the center where the magnetic attraction forces of the donut-shaped magnetic bodies 10 and 16 are balanced, and the vibration causes the iron pendulums 11 and 18 to sway and become unbalanced. When 11 and 18 are adsorbed on the donut type magnetic bodies 10 and 16, electricity is supplied and a buzzer sounds to notify the occurrence of an earthquake.

However, the vibration sensor having the above-mentioned structure has an advantage that it can sensitively detect and notify vibrations in the vertical and horizontal directions. The vibration detecting means that depends on the balance of the magnetic field in the space with the magnetic body has a very narrow magnetic field balance area.In particular, in the iron pendulum 18 and the donut type magnetic body 16 that detect horizontal vibrations, Iron pendulum 18
Even if the sway is slightly shaken, the balance of the magnetic field is lost and the iron pendulum 18 is adsorbed to the donut-shaped magnetic body 16 side, and the buzzer sounds even if a slight shake other than the earthquake occurs. Moreover, if the iron pendulum 18 is attracted to the donut-shaped magnetic body 16 side due to such notification-free noise vibration or the detection of an earthquake, the iron pendulum 18 will not be naturally released from the attraction even if the iron pendulum 18 does not shake and is released. In addition to requiring the string 20 to restore the pendulum position, the work of resetting the iron pendulum 18 to a narrow magnetic field balance space becomes extremely complicated.

That is, in the earthquake detection alarm of the present invention, a ring member having a wire having excellent conductivity and having a perfect circle with an inner diameter of 6 to 10 mm is mounted on the side surface of the main body case with the ring being horizontal. One conductive wire terminal of the alarm device installed in the main body case is connected to this ring member, and a suspending member in which a loop is formed by a wire having excellent conductivity is arranged above this ring member. The other conductive wire terminal of the alarm device is connected to the suspension member, and the diameter of the conductive wire terminal is 0.6 to 1.2 mm and the length is 50 to 100 mm, which is excellent in conductivity.
A loop of a detection needle having a loop formed at the upper end of the wire is engaged with the loop of the suspension member, and the detection needle is oscillated omnidirectionally at the center position of the ring of the ring member for detection. An earthquake detection circuit is formed by the needle, the suspending member and the ring member, and when the detection needle comes into contact with the ring of the ring member due to the swing of the detection needle, the alarm device is energized and the alarm device emits a warning sound. It is characterized by being configured as follows.

As the conductive wire used for the above-mentioned ring member, suspension member and detecting needle, an aluminum wire may be used, but a copper wire having a large specific gravity is preferable, and particularly, a copper wire having a gold plated surface causes rust. It is preferable because it is possible to maintain good conductivity for a long period of time. The diameter of the wire is preferably 0.6 to 1.2 mm. If the diameter is smaller than this, the detecting needle has less swinging inertia and the sensitivity of the earthquake is deteriorated. If the diameter is 1.2 mm or more, the weight of the entire detecting needle becomes large and the shaking becomes dull.

The inner diameter of the ring of the ring member is preferably about 6 to 10 mm after various studies. If the inner diameter of the ring is smaller than this, it becomes difficult to set the perceived seismic intensity (sway range), and if the inner diameter of the ring exceeds 10 mm, it is not possible to detect a small earthquake.

If the radius of curvature of the loop that engages the suspending member and the detection needle is too small, the detection needle is less likely to swing in all directions. This causes the inconvenience of fluctuation.

If the hanging length of the detection needle is short, the sway sensing becomes dull, and if it is long, the sway sensing accuracy is improved, but a large case is required, and a compact earthquake detection alarm cannot be obtained. Considering this point, the preferable hanging length of the detection needle is about 50 to 80 mm.

The means for mounting the ring member on the side surface of the main body case so as to be movable in the vertical direction is not particularly limited, and conventional techniques such as a tension spring system, a screw system or an elastic friction system may be applied. Good. If numerical values are displayed stepwise at intervals in the vertical direction on the surface of the case of the vertical movement operation part of the ring member, it can be used as a guide for the degree of seismic intensity detection. If it is set at the detection position, it is possible to detect and notify the occurrence of an earthquake with the set seismic intensity or higher. As the alarm used for this notification, for example, a well-known structure generally used for a bath water level alarm, pager, etc. may be made compact and applied.

The function of the seismic detector is a ring member connected to one conductive wire terminal of the alarm device mounted in the main body case with the wheel standing still at a predetermined position, and the other conductive wire terminal of the alarm device. The loop of the suspension member is connected to the loop, and the loop of the upper end engages the loop of the detection needle to hang it at the center of the ring member. Therefore, the detection needle swings smoothly in all directions. The size of the earthquake to be detected can be set by selecting the position of the ring member. When an earthquake occurs, the detection needle can surely swing inside the ring member to abut against the inner circumference of the ring member, and by this abutment, the switch of the electric circuit is closed to energize the alarm device and activate the bell or bell. A buzzer sounds to notify that an earthquake of a set scale or more has occurred.

Next, the operation of detecting and notifying an earthquake will be explained. In a normal state where there is no vibration, the detection needle 4 does not swing and stands still at the center position of the ring 2A of the ring member 2. When the occurrence occurs, the detection needle 4 starts to swing, and the occurrence of an earthquake is detected by the detection needle 4 contacting the inner circumference of the ring 2A of the ring member 2 at the position selected and set in advance. Then, as schematically shown in FIG. 4, the electric circuit that has been cut off by this contact is connected, and at the same time, the latch circuit incorporating the timer relay is operated to connect the electric circuit for a set time of the timer, for example, 20 seconds. Hold the state and activate the alarm transmission circuit, operate the notification circuit and ring the bell for a certain period of time,
It notifies that an earthquake of a set scale or more has occurred.

Moreover, the magnitude of the earthquake to be detected can be set by arbitrarily selecting the position of the ring member 2 in the height direction. For example, the ring member 2 is set at the position [4] in FIG. In this case, a small earthquake can be detected and notified without fail, and resetting work is not required, so it can be used like an alarm clock in general household use. Helps reduce human damage caused by.
