Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a new light emitting glass which has an improved optically displaying function, requires no special consideration in handling, its weight is not a nuisance, and the appearance is not spoiled. CONSTITUTION: This light emitting glass 1 is made by assembling a light emitting material 3 with a light source of a chemical light emitting member 3 to a glass 2 made of a transparent material. The light emitting member 3 is made by sealing a chemical light emitting agent which naturally emits light by mixing two kinds of solution. The glass 2 is provided with optical fiber and one end of this optical fiber is faced to the light emitting member 3.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION In the past, in a restaurant, bar, pub, or other restaurant, or in a wedding hall, a party venue, or the like that mainly serves beverages such as alcoholic beverages, lighting plays a large role in creating an atmosphere. , Various productions are being performed. Among these effects, attempts have recently been made to give optical effects to glasses in particular. For example, you can illuminate the glass from below by embedding a light source such as a light bulb in the table, or use a black light to illuminate the glass itself made of contents or special glass,
For example, the glass itself has a light emitting function.

Among these, as an example of the glass itself having a light emitting function, it has already been disclosed as "Lighted Glass" in Japanese Utility Model Publication No. Sho 64-56763. This one illuminates the glass by inserting a cartridge incorporating a light bulb, a battery and a spring switch into the handle of the glass. However, due to various problems as described below, it has not been widely spread.

First of all, since electric parts are used, it is necessary to take waterproofing measures in consideration of handling during use or cleaning of glasses, and it is necessary to sufficiently dry glasses and hands when removing the cartridge, so that it is necessary to keep it around water. Is very cumbersome to handle. Also, since the light bulb is a heating element, it warms the drink. Furthermore, the weight of the cartridge makes the whole heavier. Furthermore, even though it is originally a production member, mechanical elements are used, so that the appearance is rather spoiled. Furthermore, it requires a dedicated glass and cannot be applied to existing glasses.

First, the glass 2 will be described. As shown in FIG. 2, this is a goblet as an example, and the portion of the handle 21 that connects the accommodating portion 22 and the leg portion 23 is hollow, and in this hollow portion, the holding protrusion 21 that partially protrudes inward is formed.
Form 0. The holding projections 210 are for holding the light emitting member 3 described later, and the distance between the holding projections 210 facing each other is set to be substantially the same as the outer diameter of the light emitting member 3 as shown in an enlarged view in FIG. Such a holding protrusion 210 is
A spatula-shaped instrument having a partially depressed portion as shown in FIG. 9A is inserted into the handle 21 and is rotated once to form the device. Alternatively, as shown in FIG. 9B, a part of the handle 21 may be sandwiched between rod-shaped devices.

An embodiment defined in claim 3 and shown in FIG. 3, that is, a glass 2 having an optical fiber 5 and one end of which faces the light emitting member 3, will be described.
This is provided with the optical fiber 5 in the housing portion 22, and one end of the optical fiber 5 is attached to the light emitting member 3 in the handle 21.
And the other end is located at the edge portion of the accommodating portion 22 as an example. Although the number of optical fibers 5 and the routing pattern can take various forms, the one shown in FIG. 3 (a) is an example in which the optical fiber 5 is drawn straight, and the one shown in FIG. 3 (b) is an example in which it is drawn in a spiral shape. is there. The optical fiber 5 is preferably formed integrally with the accommodating portion 22, but may be attached to the surface of the accommodating portion 22 afterwards. With such a configuration, a part of the light emitted from the light emitting member 3 is guided by the optical fiber 5, and when the light emitting glass 1 is viewed from above, the end of the optical fiber 5 as shown in FIG. The part is visible as eight shining dots as an example.

Next, the light emitting member 3 using the self-luminous chemiluminescent agent 33 will be described. As shown in FIG. 4, the light-emitting member 3 includes, as an example, a liquid 33a, which is a mixed liquid of oxalate ester, a fluorescent substance, and a catalyst, placed in a cylindrical outer tube 31 made of a transparent polyethylene container. One liquid 33a
A glass inner tube 32 in which hydrogen peroxide, which is the second liquid 33b, is sealed, is placed inside the container and sealed. When the outer tube 31 is bent and the inner tube 32 is broken, as shown in an enlarged view of FIG.
The fluorescent substance receives the energy emitted when the a and the two liquids 33b are mixed and the oxalic acid ester is oxidized by the action of hydrogen peroxide and the catalyst, and emits light. By the way, the light emission time can be controlled by the amount of the one liquid 33a and the two liquid 33b, the mixing amount of the catalyst, etc., and the outer tube 31 is 4.5φ ×.
It has a size of 43 mm and is several hours to ten and more hours under favorable conditions. As another mode of the light emitting member 3, FIG.
As shown in (b), if the outer tube 31 is divided into two chambers, and the inner tube 32 enclosing the one liquid 33a in which the fluorescent substances of different colors are mixed is inserted into each of the two chambers, the above configuration is adopted. It emits light in color.

The luminescent glass 1 of the present invention comprises the above-mentioned members, and the glass 2 is formed as follows.
And, an optical effect is given to the beverage in the storage unit 22.
First, the light emitting member 3 is bent to break the inner tube 32, and this is made to emit light. Next, when the light emitting member 3 is inserted into the handle 21 of the glass 2, the light emitting member 3 holds the holding protrusion 210.
Held by At this time, if necessary, as shown in FIG.
The hollow portion of the handle 21 may be sealed with.

Although the light emitted from the light emitting member 3 is not sufficiently visible under natural light or under a fluorescent lamp, for example, in a dark place such as a wedding candle service, or in a bar where lighting is intentionally kept low. Under illumination, the light of a fluorescent color causes the entire glass 2 and the drink in the container 22 to emerge. Incidentally, if appropriate fine particles are mixed into glass, various plastics, or the optical fiber 5 which is the raw material of the glass 2, the light can be reflected on the fine particles and the glass 2 can be more effectively raised. Moreover, a more beautiful effect can be achieved by appropriately cutting the glass 2.

As for the form of the glass 2, as shown in FIG. 5 (a), the handle 21 may be protruded into the accommodating portion 22, and according to such a structure, it is poured into the accommodating portion 22. Beverages can be illuminated more effectively. Further, Collins glass without the handle 21 as shown in FIG. 5 (b),
With respect to a tumbler or the like, a groove may be provided at the bottom portion that conforms to the outer shape of the light emitting member 3 and the light emitting member 3 may be mounted therein.
