Abstract

PURPOSE: To efficiently subject dust containing air generated in large quantities in machinery to dust collection and filtration by attaching a water tank and an exhaust cylinder to a tank for collecting dust. CONSTITUTION: When a fan is operated to suck a mixture of dust and air into a cyclone dust collector 1, the mixture flows downward while generating a vortex in the dust collector 1, and during that time, dust in air is centrifugally separated. The separated dust falls downward and is immersed in water in a water tank 2 having an air reservoir. The water in the water tank 2 is circulated in a closed loop, allowing the dust to circulate together with the water. Then the dust reaches the lower part of the bottom of the water tank 2 having a step and is precipitated and stored there. Clean air from which dust has been removed is released in the air from a discharge port.
