抜去し、カテーテルシース内腔にカテーテルを挿入して
カテーテル先端を目的位置まで進め、血管造影その他の
施術を行う。カテーテルシースに固着された止血弁内設
コネクターはこの施術中の出血を防止する働きをもつ。
この造影を行う場合、造影剤をカテーテルに注入する
が、その際にカテーテルの先端から造影剤が勢いよく噴
出し、その反動としてカテーテルが目的位置より後退
し、理想的な血管造影像が得られない場合がしばしばあ
った。また、呼吸性移動のため、カテーテルシースに挿
通されたカテーテルがずれて一定位置に保持できないの
で、これを防止するために施術者はカテーテルを指で固

と二股状に形成された把手部(12)とを一体成形して
なるが、把手部(12)を施術者が握持し、操作すると
把持部(11)が左右に開き、或いは閉じることができ
るように、把持部(11)の上部には間隙(13)を設
け、かつ、該間隙(13)が閉じた状態においてカテー
テルを挟持できるように、該間隙(13)を介して対向
する壁面上下方向に挟持凹溝(14)が穿ってある。従
って、間隙(13)の幅及び挟持凹溝(14)の深さは
相対的に決定されるが、カテーテルの挟持という目的か
らすれば、挟持凹溝(14)を深くし、間隙(13)の
幅を小さくすることが考えられる。把持部(11)の下
部には、前記コネクター部(2)を挟持する鉤部(1
5)を設けて該鉤部(15)の端部内側に爪(16)を
突設し、前記嵌合凹部(4)を挟持できるよう構成して
ある。即ち、把手部(12)を強弱握持することによ
り、間隙(13)及び鉤部(15)従って爪(16)も
同時に開閉するので、前記挟持凹溝(14)によるカテ
ーテル(20)挟持と鉤部(15)及び爪(16)によ
る前記嵌合凹部(4)の固定がワンタッチで可能となり
施術者のカテーテル(20)固定操作は極めて容易とな
る。また、施術者の手指による把持を要することなくカ
テーテル(20)の固定ができるので、X線被爆を避け
