Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a folding door which has a simple structure, can prevent a finger from being caught, has the good appearance, and is inexpensive. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of doors 11, 12 are connected by a hinge 18 in such a manner that they can be folded down, and a bending sheet 2 for preventing finger from being caught is provided and fixed between a side face 110 of the door 11 and a side face 120 of the adjacent door 12. Preferably, the bending sheet 2 has an intermediate bended section 21 which is bent and protrudes at an intermediate section of the adjacent doors 11, 12. Moreover, it is preferable that a folding door has a locking section 20 which is inserted in the adjacent doors 11, 12 and that the doors 11, 12 have an insertion recessed section in which the locking section 20 is inserted and locked on their side faces 110, 120.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, storage furniture that uses a part of an interior wall has been used.
It is often performed by the folding door 9 shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 10, the folding door 9 has a structure in which a plurality of doors 11 and 12 are connected by a hinge 18 so that the folding door 9 can be folded.
The lower surface and the upper surface of 1 and 12 are slidably connected in the horizontal direction within the rails of the horizontal frames 971 and 972 laid on the floor surface and the ceiling surface. Reference numeral 973 is a vertical frame.

[Problems to be Solved] However, when the folding door 9 is folded and opened, as shown in FIG.
Due to the relationship of the hinges 18 that connect the doors 11 and 12, a V-shaped space 98 is formed in the portion where the side surfaces 110 and 120 face each other. In addition, in the portion where the hinge 18 is not attached, as shown in FIG.
Between the side end portions 119 and 129 of 120, the end space 99
Occurs. Hereinafter, both the V-shaped space 98 and the end space 99 are collectively referred to as a void.

Then, when the folding door 9 is folded and opened, as shown in FIGS. 12 (A) and 12 (B),
The doors 11 and 12 project while exposing the side surfaces 110 and 120 to the surface 95 side. Therefore, when closing the folding door 9, there is a high possibility that the projecting side surfaces 110 and 120 are instinctively pushed by hand, and as shown in FIG. 12C, the finger 8 may be caught in the void portion. there were.

In order to prevent the fingers from being caught as described above, a folding door in which a recess is formed by cutting the back surface of the door and a hinge is embedded in the recess is also considered. According to this, it is possible to prevent the generation of the void portion. However, in the case of the above-mentioned structure, a cutting process on the back surface of the door is required, which complicates the manufacturing process of the folding door, which causes an increase in manufacturing cost.

What is most noticeable in the present invention is that a flexible sheet is arranged and fixed on the side surface of the door between the side surface of the adjacent door. As the flexible sheet, for example, reinforced paper such as synthetic resin impregnated paper or synthetic resin coated paper, or synthetic resin sheet can be used.

When reinforcing paper is used as the flexible sheet, bending processing can be easily performed by forming embossed patterns on both sides of the reinforcing paper. Thus, the reinforcing paper can be easily processed into a flexible sheet. The embossed pattern also has the effect of increasing the strength of the completed flexible sheet. Further, as the reinforcing paper, for example, synthetic resin-impregnated paper impregnated with urethane resin, latex resin, amino resin, or the like, or synthetic resin-coated paper having the surface coated with the same synthetic resin can be used.

On the other hand, examples of the synthetic resin sheet include polypropylene resin having a thickness of 0.2 to 1.0 mm,
A sheet made of nylon, vinyl chloride resin or the like can be used.

Next, it is preferable that the flexible sheet has a protruding intermediate bent portion that bends in an intermediate portion of an adjacent door. As a result, it is possible to prevent the fingers from being caught between the side end portions of the door, that is, the end portion space, as shown in FIG. 12B of the conventional example. Further, the intermediate bent portion can be formed by bending the flexible sheet once or plural times. Further, the tip of the intermediate bent portion may be a protrusion. Also, the tip may be arcuate.

Next, it is preferable that the flexible sheet has a locking portion to be inserted into an adjacent door, while the door has an insertion concave portion on its side surface for inserting and locking the locking portion (described later. See Example 1). This facilitates the attachment of the flexible sheet to the door. Further, it is preferable that the locking portion has a locking retaining piece. As a result, the insertion locking of the locking portion becomes more reliable, and the flexible sheet can be prevented from falling off. The flexible sheet including the engaging portion can be integrally formed by extrusion molding.

Further, it is preferable that the insertion recess is provided in the center of the side surface of the door along the longitudinal direction thereof. As a result, the above-mentioned locking portion is moved along the length direction of the side surface of the door,
It can be firmly engaged. It should be noted that the locking portion and the insertion concave portion may be bonded and fixed with an adhesive, for example.

Next, it is preferable that the flexible sheet has a fixing portion that is fixedly adhered to the side surface of each door (see Embodiment 2 described later). In this case, since the flexible sheet can be assembled to the door without providing a special structure, the shape is simple. Therefore, the production of the flexible sheet is facilitated.

In the folding door of the present invention, a flexible sheet for preventing finger pinching is arranged and fixed on the side surface of the door between the side surface of the adjacent door. Accordingly, when the folding door is folded and opened, the void formed by the side surface of the adjacent door is closed by the flexible sheet. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the finger from being caught in the void.
