Abstract

PURPOSE:To convey a cloth by holding a belt always in a flat extended condition, by absorbing elongation in a roller axial center direction of the belt due to receiving heat, when operated, and due to aged use. CONSTITUTION:In a cloth conveyer, since each tapered roller part 3, 3, respectively formed in both end parts of a roller main unit 2A of a conveying roller 2a, is formed to increase a diameter in a roller axial center outward direction, in a peripheral surface of each tapered roller part 3, 3, a peripheral speed is increased in accordance with going to the roller axial center outside. Consequently in both edge parts of a mesh belt mounted on each tapered roller part 3, 3, by applying tension (shown by arrow mark F) in a front outward direction due to a peripheral speed difference between inner/outer sides, the belt is pulled in an outward direction respectively opposed to each other. Accordingly, the mesh belt 5A, even when generated elongation due to heat or the like during running, is held in a condition that the belt is extended over a total unit in the roller axial center direction.

Generally, the mesh belt 5 and the conveying roll 2c change in size due to a temperature difference. For example, at low temperature before starting the fabric heat treatment device,
The mesh belt 5 and the transport roll 2c are in a state of being stretched with a specified dimension in the axial direction of the roll. On the other hand, when exposed to a high temperature during the drying operation, the mesh belt 5 stretched at this time
Since both edge portions are positioned, the mesh belt 5A (shown by a chain double-dashed line) is swollen at the central portion in the roll axial direction.

As a result, between the transport rolls 2c, a slack is generated at the center of the mesh belt 5A in the roll axial direction. Therefore, according to the conventional cloth conveying device, the cloth cannot be conveyed in a flat state, which may cause a defect in the cloth after the conveyance.

In the cloth conveying apparatus according to the present invention, since the taper roll portions at both ends of the conveyance roll are formed so as to have a large diameter toward the outside of the roll axis, the peripheral surface of each taper roll portion is The peripheral speed is faster toward the outside of the roll axis. Therefore, both edge portions of the belt placed on the respective taper roll portions are pulled outward in the opposite directions because tension is applied outward in the front direction due to the peripheral speed difference. Therefore,
During running of the belt, the belt is held in a stretched state over the entire axial direction of the roll, even if a difference in thermal expansion between the transfer roll and the belt due to heat or the like or elongation due to aging occurs. .

FIG. 2 is a partially cutaway front view of the transport roll of the fabric transport device. As shown in the drawing, in particular, taper roll portions 3 each having a large diameter outwardly of the roll axis are formed at both ends of the roll body 2A constituting the transport roll 2a. Incidentally, when the diameter of the roll body 2A is 150 mmφ, the taper inclination of the taper roll portion 3 is, for example, 3 /
It is preferable to set it to about 100 in order not to give a large warp to the mesh belt 5 at the sliding contact position with the transport roll 2a and to appropriately give an outward tension described later.

Further, V-belt-shaped protrusions 6 (an example of a first engaging portion) are attached near both edges of the back surface of the mesh belt 5 facing the taper roll portions 3 and 3, respectively. ing. On the other hand, on the peripheral surface of each of the taper roll portions 3 and 3, a peripheral groove portion 4 (an example of a second engaging portion) is formed in an annular shape over the entire circumference. The ridges 6 of the mesh belt 5 are formed in the circumferential groove 4
It is loosely fitted inside and is slidably engaged with each other to regulate the running position of the mesh belt 5 in the roll axis direction. A running positioning mechanism 14 for the mesh belt 5 is constituted by the protrusions 6 and the circumferential groove portion 4. In this case, before the activation of the fabric heat treatment apparatus 1, in the mesh belt 5, the protrusions 6 and 6 have the circumferential groove portions 4 respectively.
It is set in advance so as to be slidably engaged with the innermost side wall of No. 4 and extended in the axial direction of the roll (see FIG. 2).

At this time, the mesh belt 5 and the roll main body 2A of each cloth conveying device 2 receive the hot air from the hot air jet nozzle 7 and expand due to thermal expansion. Further, the mesh belt 5 also stretches due to a change with time. On the other hand, at both edges of the mesh belt 5, which are in contact with the taper roll portion 3, the inner peripheral speed (represented by the length of arrow Ri) of the taper roll portion 3 and the outer side Peripheral speed (arrow R

As a result, each of the ridges 6 and 6 is attached to each of the circumferential groove portions 4,
The mesh belts 5A stretched by heat are stretched over the entire axial direction of the roll (see FIG. 3), while the bottom surfaces of the rolls 4 move outward. That is, the dimension of the bottom surface of each of the circumferential groove portions 4 and 4 in the roll axis direction is set to have a margin that does not hinder the movement of the protrusions 6 and 6 due to the elongation of the mesh belt 5. The function of absorbing the elongation of the belt is not limited to the elongation due to heat, but also has an effect on the elongation due to aged use or the like. Therefore, according to the fabric transporting device 2, even under the condition that the mesh belt 5 is stretched, the stretch at that time can be absorbed and the fabric 8 can be always transported while being kept flat.

Further, in the cloth conveying apparatus of the above-mentioned embodiment, the case where the endless mesh belt 5 is wound around the conveying rolls arranged in parallel is shown, but, for example, in the conveying rolls arranged in parallel of three or more. It is also applicable when winding the mesh belt 5. The belt is not limited to the mesh belt, and may be a linear belt instead of an endless belt. Further, the traveling direction of the belt is not limited to being substantially horizontal in a side view, and may be, for example, an inclined direction.

Further, the application of the cloth conveying apparatus of the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned cloth heat treatment apparatus, and a belt for mounting and conveying the cloth and a conveying for mounting and running the belt. It is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to other devices as long as it has a structure for carrying a cloth including a roll.

As described above, according to the cloth transporting apparatus of the present invention, both edge portions of the belt placed on each taper roll portion having a large outward diameter have a peripheral speed in the roll axial direction. Because the pulling force is applied to the opposite direction by the outward tension caused by the difference, the heat received during operation and the elongation in the roll axial direction of the belt due to the use over time are absorbed, so the belt is always kept in a flat stretched state. be able to. As a result, the cloth can be conveyed without any problem.
