Abstract

PURPOSE: To write characters by masking a part to be corrected without using a transfer method. CONSTITUTION: A correction tape 10 comprises a base material layer 11 consisting of a resin film, a metal thin film layer 12 which is formed on one face of the base material layer 11 and gives a masting effect, and an adhesive layer 13. The base material layer 11 has the same color tone as that of a plain paper effected by incorporating a white pigment into a resin material or by providing a white printing layer on the surface of the base material layer 11. Also, an invisible roughness is given onto the surface as needed. In a state that the correction tape 10 is bonded to a correcting part of a document, the correcting part is masked so as not to be seen transparently, and a corrected character can be written on the surface.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, there has been known a correction liquid for concealing a portion of a document to be written correctly when a typographical error such as a letter or a symbol occurs in the written matter. This correction liquid can be applied by a so-called pen touch method in addition to the application with a brush, but it is difficult to apply the correction liquid evenly due to the viscosity change of the correction liquid over time, and the correction characters etc. However, there is an inconvenience that it cannot be described in.

By the way, recently, a white hiding layer and an adhesive layer which are peelable from the substrate layer are sequentially laminated on one surface of the tape-shaped substrate layer, and the hiding layer and the adhesive layer are formed. A transfer tape for correction, on which the correction characters and the like can be written on the surface of the concealing layer, has been developed by transferring to the uncorrected portion. This correction transfer tape is accommodated in a predetermined holder so that it can be wound up, and can be transferred by partially exposing the tape from the holder and moving the exposed portion while pressing the exposed portion against the corrected portion. .

Moreover, when writing characters or the like on the surface of the hiding layer, the hiding layer is often scraped off with a pen tip, and it is often difficult to maintain the desired correction effect. Further, the transfer of the concealing layer and the adhesive layer is performed by aligning the tape portion exposed from the holder with the surface of the paper, and there is also a disadvantage that it is easily transferred to a portion that does not require correction.

OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION The present invention was devised by focusing on the disadvantages of the conventional example, and an object thereof is to enable a correction tape to be directly attached to a correction portion without using a transfer system. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a correction tape in which the surface of the tape can be used as a correction surface, and the correction characters can always be described stably.

In the state where the above-mentioned correction tape is attached to the paper surface which is the portion to be corrected, the characters to be corrected are completely hidden by the non-translucency of the resin film itself or the presence of the metal thin film layer, and It is possible to write modified characters on the front side. At this time, the surface side of the base material layer becomes white to be compatible with the color of the plain paper to avoid the color tone difference between the two. In addition, since the base material layer is made of a resin film and a metal thin film layer or the like is laminated on the base material layer, the tape thickness as a whole can be formed on the order of micron, and the tape surface after the tape is attached can be formed. The steps can be suppressed as much as possible, and it is possible to prevent a shadow from being projected during copying.

The base material layer in the present invention is polyester,
It can be molded with a resin film made of polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, acetate or the like, or a composite material thereof. The thickness of the base material layer is 10 μm
It is set in the range of ˜80 μm. This is because if it is less than 10 μm, it becomes difficult to handle, while if it exceeds 80 μm, there is a high possibility that a shadow will be generated at the time of copying due to a step after attachment. As the white pigment, titanium oxide, zinc oxide, white kaolin or the like can be preferably used, and the addition amount thereof is arbitrarily set within a range capable of imparting non-translucency to the resin film. The metal thin film layer can be formed by vapor deposition or the like. For vapor deposition, both vacuum vapor deposition and sputter vapor deposition can be adopted, but vacuum vapor deposition with relatively simple equipment is preferable in order to reduce the manufacturing cost. The layer thickness of the metal thin film layer is 0.1 to 2 μm. The adhesive layer has a certain elasticity, that is, a known material such as a natural rubber having an adhesive property to an adherend such as paper is used, and the adhesive layer is an adhesive such as cellophane tape or mending tape. A layer thickness similar to that of tape is sufficient.

Example 1 In FIG. 1, a correction tape 10 is a base layer 11 made of a resin film obtained by kneading polyester with a white pigment.
1, a metal thin film 12 having aluminum deposited on one surface of the base material layer 11, that is, the lower surface in FIG. 1, and an adhesive layer 13 laminated on the lower surface of the metal thin film 12. Here, the base material layer 11, the metal thin film 12, and the adhesive layer 1
The respective layer thicknesses of 3 are set to 10 μm, 0.1 μm, and 5 μm, respectively, and the layer thickness as a whole is configured as an ultrathin type.

When the correction tape 10 is attached to a portion to be corrected using plain paper, the character to be corrected can be completely hidden in the presence of the metal thin film layer 12, and the surface side is the color of the plain paper. I was able to show it without any change. In addition, it is possible to write characters and the like on the surface of the base material layer 11 without any inconvenience, and further, the entire thickness of the correction tape 10 is reduced, so that a step difference from a sheet can be suppressed. Using a copying machine (Canon Co., Ltd .: NP2020),
When an experiment was conducted with the densities of 1 to 10 (1 is the thinnest, 10 is the darkest), it was possible to reproduce up to the density of 8 without causing any shadow to appear. Also, the correction tape 1
When characters were written over 0 and plain paper, extremely smooth and beautiful characters could be written by suppressing the above-mentioned step.

Comparative Example A hiding layer in which titanium white was mixed was laminated on one surface of a woodfree paper having a layer thickness of 85 μm, and a colorant layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer were sequentially laminated on this hiding layer so that the total thickness was 100 μm.

In this comparative example, it was possible to conceal the portion to be corrected and to enter the correction character normally. However, when copying was performed with the copying machine of Example 1, the density of 4 or more resulted in a shadow of the tape outline. The result was copied. Further, as compared with the above-mentioned embodiment, the layer has a thickness as a whole, the number of steps with respect to the paper surface was large, and it was not possible to neatly write the characters across the correction tape and the paper surface.

EFFECTS OF THE INVENTION According to the correction tape of the present invention, it is possible to completely eliminate the inconveniences such as transfer failure or scraping off of the concealing layer at the time of writing correction characters, which are seen in the transfer tape. By using a film as a base layer and providing the base layer itself or a metal thin film layer, the overall layer thickness can be suppressed while obtaining the effect of concealing the portion to be corrected, and thus the tape contour on the copied paper surface. There is no way to make the shadow appear. In addition, since the level difference between the correction tape and the paper surface is small, it is possible to ensure the easy writing state even when characters are written across the correction tape and the paper surface.
