【発明の詳細な説明】 (イ)この発明は屋内の給水管に接続し雨不足や地震災
害などの断水時に新鮮な水を確実に確保及び飲料水の衛
生面を守ることを目的とするものである。 (ロ)従来さまざまな貯水タンクは有りますが水道の断
水を予期してポリタンクやその他の容器に水を貯めてお
いても水道水に含まれている殺菌剤(塩素)は空気や日
光にあたると2、3日の効果しかないため従来のタンク
及び容器に水を保管する場合は定期的な交換を余儀なく
されるため本貯水タンクは屋内の給水管の途中に設置す
るので日常の給水のたびに新しい水と入れ替わり殺菌剤
の効果は常に持続するので断水時には即飲料水として使
用することができるのである。 (ハ)又給水管の接続できる貯水タンクがあったとして
も給水管接続部のみ上部にあり排水管接続部は下部に設
置するのが自然な考え方でその様な貯水タクの場合大容
量の貯水タンクでない限り断水時にはタンク内の水を使
い果たしてはじめて断水に気付く恐れがある。 (ニ)又用途の違うビルの屋上に設置する貯水タンクは
上階の給水圧低下を防ぐための設備であり本貯水タンク
とは用途や構造が違うのである。
