Abstract

PURPOSE: To facilitate maintenance and improve the reliability by a method wherein a substrate is formed of metal or plastics, a panel-like switch board is stuck or fuse-bonded on the surface of the substrate, and a net-like member is attached on the switch board with an adhesive. CONSTITUTION: A back board 3 as a substrate that directly comes in contact with a sidewall of a swimming pool is made of metal or plastics. A panel-like switch board 4 is stuck or fuse-bonded on the surface of the back board 3. A plastic net-like member 5 is stuck or fuse-bonded on the switch board 4 so that all the components including the back board 3 and the panel-like switch board 4 are formed into a laminate. A frame 7 is attached around the laminate with screws. A panel-like sensor can be used instead of the panel-like switch board 4. By this constitution, touch signals at the higher parts of the net is input but pressures of waves that reach the inside of the net are not caught as touch signals. Therefore, the selective response to touch can be improved.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a touch panel used in a swimming competition has been devised in various ways to handle water pressure due to the restriction of being used in water. Recently, the main game used in official games is a touch panel with a tape-like switch interposed between two plates. Such a touch plate will be described with reference to FIG. In FIG. 4, a plurality of tape-shaped switches 22 are attached to the back plate 3 horizontally or vertically, and a plurality of pressure regulating sponges 24 are attached to a certain portion. The front plate 20 is arranged on the front side relative to the back plate 3, and a plurality (or a plurality) of actuating plates 23 or projecting portions are provided vertically or horizontally between the back plate 3 and the front plate 20. There is.
Further, the back plate 3 and the front plate 20 configured as described above are integrally assembled with the frame 7 as shown in FIG.

FIG. 2 shows an example of use of such a touch panel. The touch plate 1 is usually hung on the pool wall 2 on the start side and the turn side in the pool. When a swimmer touches the touch panel 1, an electric signal is generated to measure time and the like. When the swimmer hits the front plate 20, the inner working plate 23 is pressed,
An electric signal is generated by pressing any part of the tape-shaped switch 22 attached to the back plate 3. Top plate 20
Water enters between the back plate 3 and the back plate 3, but since the face plate 20 has a hole for draining water, when the front plate is pressed, water is drained so that the water pressure does not press the tape-shaped switch 22. ing.
In addition, the inner volume of the peripheral portion is reduced between the front plate and the back plate, so that the front plate 20 is not pushed back by water pressure. The pressure-adjusting sponge 24 adjusts the pressing force of the front plate 20 so that a touch signal can be input no matter where the tape-shaped switch 22 is touched.

However, the conventional touch panel has a problem in that the number of components is large and a lot of time is required for assembly. Attach a tape-shaped switch and pressure-adjusting sponge to the back plate at multiple locations, drill holes for draining on the top plate, attach the operation plate, and then match the back plate and the front plate together, and unite with the frame In the case of assembling in a long process of configuring, it is costly and maintenance in case of failure is not easy.

Further, the conventional touch plate is not uniform in pressure sensitivity. This is due to the non-uniformity of the touch plate structure.
In other words, even if a plurality of tape-shaped switches or divided operating plates are combined and arranged in various ways, there is a limit to complete uniformization. In addition, it is important to increase the responsiveness of the touch board that the swimmer's touch signal does not respond to the pressure of the wave, but it is important to increase the reliability of the touch board, and it is an official tournament that can not be redone In such a case, there has been a demand for a touch plate that surely measures time. On the other hand, since swimming fans are increasing from baby to old in the health-oriented culture in recent years, a simple touch panel that can be timed by an individual is also required.

The internal structures of the panel switch and the panel sensor are shown in FIG. The panel-shaped switch and the panel-shaped sensor have two sheet conductors 13 each having at least one lead wire 12 opposed to each other at a small distance, and the sheet conductor 13 has a conductive film or a resistive film. A planar insulator may be used. A known composite member 1 which, when compressed in the thickness direction between them, produces conductivity at least in its thickness direction
It has 4 in between. The touch signal of the swimmer can be detected by hanging the touch plate 1 having such a structure on the pool wall surface 2 as shown in FIG. The size of one side of one mesh of the mesh member 5 of this embodiment is approximately 1 mm to 15 mm, and when the touch plate 1 is touched by a swimmer's hand or the like, the surface mesh member 5 is deformed, and Is pressed and deformed. The panel-shaped switch 4 conducts electricity due to deformation caused by compression and detects a swimmer's touch as an electric signal.

Not only when touching, but when the swimmer starts backstroke or makes a turn, the touch plate is kicked with his foot to give momentum, so that the surface of the touch plate is required to be slippery. In the conventional touch plate shown in FIG. 4, the water drain hole 21 is provided in the front plate 20. The drain hole 21 has the effect of making it more difficult to slip as it increases in a practically effective size range, for example, a diameter of 4 mm to 8 mm. However, when the number of holes is increased, the strength is reduced and the processing cost is increased. Although a method has been proposed to prevent slippage by providing unevenness by the material itself on the plastic surface of the top plate 20, a sufficient slip prevention effect has not been obtained. It is technically possible to prevent slippage by attaching or attaching a myriad of other fine materials to the surface of the top plate innumerably. However, it is not easy to prevent these fine substances from falling and floating in the pool. In the touch plate of the present invention, the portion where the swimmer touches or kicks is the net member 5.
It is composed of When touching or kicking, when the contact portion between the hand or foot and the mesh member 5 is microscopically viewed, the entire hand or foot is not in contact with one surface, but is stitched by the stitches of the mesh member 5. Since only certain protrusions 11 come into contact, the contact surface pressure increases. As a result, water is removed at the boundary surface of contact, and the hands and feet come into direct contact with each other, which is effective in preventing slippage.

The minimum pressure at which the front plate of the touch plate is pressed by a certain pressure to generate an electric signal is called "sensitive pressure", and it is a time measuring device that the sensitive pressure is uniform over the entire sensitive area. Is an important property. In the conventional touch panel, the operating plate 23 is provided so that the sensitive pressure becomes equal even when the part of the front plate 20 directly above the tape-shaped switch 22 is touched or the part deviating from directly above the tape-shaped switch is touched. I was On the surface of the back plate 3, a plurality of tape-shaped switches having a plurality of horizontally mounted tape switches are vertically attached to the inside of the front plate, and any one of them is pressed. However, the sensitive pressure is still not completely uniform over the entire surface of the front plate 20. This is due to the non-uniformity of the touch plate structure. There is a limit to uniformity due to the arrangement and configuration of tape-shaped or strip-shaped parts, and the number of tape-shaped switches is increased endlessly.
The gap between the working plates must be as small as possible.

Furthermore, the back plate 3 and the front plate 20 are not perfectly flat, and it is difficult to keep the joint strength and thickness uniform when the actuation plate 23 is assembled by adhesion, which results from these. It also has a non-uniform pressure response. Pressure adjusting sponge 2 to correct this unevenness
I was using 4. The response pressure of the assembled touch plate was measured over the entire surface of the touch plate, and the pressure-adjusting sponge 24 was attached to the surface of the back plate 3 under a low pressure. However, this adjustment work was very time-consuming.

In the case of the conventional touch plate, depending on the touch position, the tape switch 22 may be pressed directly above, depending on the touch position.
Otherwise, the front plate 2 away from the tape switch 22
There is also a case where the part of 0 is pressed. Therefore, it cannot be said that the structure is uniform with respect to the hands and fingers. In the touch plate of the present invention, the mesh is sufficiently small as described above, and the hand or finger always comes into contact with the convex portion of the net by delicately setting the convex portion 11 constituting the net. The convex portion 11 of the net presses the panel-shaped switch 4 immediately below the convex portion 11 to turn on the switch. Since the reticulated member 5 and the panel-shaped switch 4 have a uniform structure for a hand or a finger, it can be said that the touch plate of the present invention has a far more uniform sensitive pressure than a conventional operating plate type touch plate.

As a characteristic of the touch plate, it is also important that the wave pressure and the touch force of a person are selectively reacted with each other.
In the pool, when a swimmer is approaching the touch board, or when the swimmer is swimming on the next course, a wave is generated and pushes against the touch board. The touch panel may respond to these external forces besides the touch by the swimmer. Conventionally, in order to provide the touch panel with selective reaction characteristics, a large number of drain holes 21 are formed in the front panel 20 as shown in FIG. The current of the wave hits the top plate 20 and at the same time, much of its momentum passes through the drain hole 21 and the top plate 20
The force he received was reduced, slowing his response to the waves. On the other hand, even if there is a hole in the front plate 20, the force of the swimmer is not weakened. Conversely, when the water trapped in the space inside the touch plate is touched and the top plate 20 is deformed to reduce the volume, the water comes out of the touch plate through this hole, so that the time response is improved. In this case, the greater the number of the drain holes 21, the higher the selective reactivity was.

However, in the front plate 20 of the touch plate having the conventional structure, the number of holes has a limit value. Too much top plate 2
The strength of the touch panel drops, and it breaks at the time of a strong shock such as a swimmer's turn. occured. Also, the processing cost increased as the number of holes increased. In this regard, even if a wave is applied to the touch panel of the present invention, substantially the same pressure is applied to both the convex portions 11 of the mesh member 5 and the surface of the panel-shaped switch 4 in the eyes of the mesh member 5. On the other hand, when the swimmer touches, the power of the hand or the finger is received by the projection 11 and transmitted to the panel-shaped switch 4. However, no force is applied to the portion of the panel-shaped switch 4 in the eyes of the mesh member 5.

FIG. 6 shows the distribution of the force applied to the panel-shaped switch 4 by waves and the strength of the force applied to the panel-shaped switch 4 by a hand or a finger. A is a position below the convex portion 11 of the mesh member 5, and B is a position below the mesh. When there is contact with a hand or the like, a force is applied to the position A, and a large force is applied to the panel switch. The force due to the wave is applied to the panel-like switch in the same manner at the positions A and B with a small force as shown in FIG. In this way, the force due to the waves is applied on average, and the force due to the one hand or finger is applied intensively, and selective responsiveness is realized. In the front plate 20 that controls this characteristic of the conventional touch plate, the hole area ratio could not be so large because of its cost and strength restrictions. In the mesh member 5 of the touch plate according to the present invention, since the area ratio of the meshes can be made sufficiently large, the selective reactivity can be further increased.

Since it is difficult to redo the time measurement of the competition, various backup functions have been conventionally considered.
Even in swimming competitions, the sensitivity is uniform as described above,
Even if the selective reactivity is enhanced, accurate timekeeping cannot be performed if a failure occurs in the switch system. The conventional tape-shaped switch is a single system, and if a part of the tape-shaped switch is out of order, an electrical signal of the touch cannot be obtained even if the user touches the front plate of the part. Therefore, even if the space between adjacent tape-shaped switches is narrowed and a large number of tape-shaped switches are arranged on the same plane, if the tape-shaped switch 22 that has failed is touched, the switch is not needed and it is not a backup. . It is possible to arrange the tape-shaped switches in a double layer and electrically handle the signals by dividing them into two systems, but according to the official rules of the International Swimming Federation, the thickness of the touch plate is 10 mm. There is. In the conventional touch plate structure, the back plate 3 is 2 mm, the tape-shaped switch 22 is 5 mm, the operating plate 23 is 1 mm, and the front plate 20 is 2 mm.

If the tape-like switch 22 is moved in the thickness direction by 2
If they can be used in a stack, both the upper and lower switches are turned on when touched, so that if the upper and lower switches are electrically handled as separate systems, backup should be possible even if one of the switches fails. However, this method cannot be realized in practice because the thickness of the touch switch does not become the thickness according to the rules because the thickness is increased by the overlap of the tape switches.

Since the thickness of the panel-shaped switch 4 used in this embodiment is about 1 mm or less, it is about 2 mm even when two switches are stacked. Since the electric system is separate, even if a failure occurs in one piece, the swimmer's touch can be surely obtained, and the touch plate in this embodiment uses a back plate of 5 mm and a net member 5 of 3 mm. The touch panel of 10mm is composed of two panel-shaped switches, and the touch panel that complies with the rules of swimming is realized while having the backup function.

As described above, in the conventional assembling work of the touch plate, the tape-shaped switch 22 is mounted on the back plate 3 by attaching the tape-shaped switches 22, the pressure-adjusting sponges 24 and the actuating plates 23. Twice as many lead wires must be connected. This required a lot of assembly time. However, in the touch panel assembling work of the present invention, the work process conventionally involving assembling of a plurality of parts is performed with one panel switch 4 (two when backup is required) on the back plate 1. All you have to do is connect the two lead wires. Further, there is no adjustment work such as mounting of the pressure adjusting sponge 24 in the related art.

As described above, the touch plate of the present invention is easy to assemble because it has a small number of parts to be assembled and the process is short. The board, panel-like switch and net-like member are combined to form a frame, or the board, panel-like switch and net-like member are simply sealed together with a film-like sheet, making it easy to assemble and design. Variations are also possible. That is, according to the present invention, not only a product that satisfies the thickness and size of the entire touch panel according to the official rules but also a small touch panel used for practice in an individual or in a small pool is easy. Further, since the switch portion is the entire surface of the touch panel, a touch signal can be generated even if any portion is touched. In addition, normal waves and water pressure exert an average pressing force on the convex portion of the mesh of the net-like member and on the inside of the mesh, but since the touch of the swimmer is applied only on the convex portion, the panel-like switch is The swimmer's touch signal can be selected and reacted. In addition, it is possible to realize a highly reliable touch plate that is easy to assemble and can be prepared for an unexpected failure by simply duplicating the panel switch.
