[0006] As shown in FIG.
When a shock is applied in the Y direction, the liquid crystal panel 1 also moves in the + Y direction, the panel fixing plate 2 is deformed into a bow shape as shown in the figure, and the adhesive 3 is compressed. Due to the deformation of the panel fixing plate 2 and the contraction of the adhesive 3 at this time, the relative positions of the liquid crystal panel 1 and the wiring board 5 fixed to the panel fixing plate 2 change. The TCP 4 formed of a flexible base material deforms and tries to absorb this change amount. But,
Due to the large amount of deformation, TCP4 may be destroyed.

In FIG. 2, the liquid crystal panel 1 is arranged and fixed on the elastic member 3 arranged on the upper surface of the panel fixing plate 2 so that the elastic member 3 just surrounds the display area of the liquid crystal panel 1. Has been done. In this structure, a rubber-based (silicone rubber or the like) adhesive that exhibits elasticity after curing is applied in a frame shape on the upper surface of the panel fixing plate 2, and then the liquid crystal panel 1 is applied thereon.
It is manufactured by placing and bonding. The panel fixing plate 2 is provided on the panel fixing plate 2 so as to support the wiring substrate 5 on the side farther from the liquid crystal panel 1 than the line that bisects the wiring substrate 5 in parallel with the arrangement direction of the electrode terminals 11 of the liquid crystal panel 1. A rib 61 corresponding to the support portion is provided.

Also, regarding the drop in the -Y direction, a line that bisects the wiring board 5 between the display board support member 10 and the wiring board 5 and parallel to the arrangement direction of the electrode terminals 11 is used. Since the elastic member 62 is arranged on the side far from the liquid crystal panel 1, the wiring board 5 moves in the rotation direction.

Further, if the elastic members 62 are provided at least at both ends in the direction parallel to the arrangement direction of the electrode terminals of the wiring board 5 and at the center thereof, the wiring board 5 itself is deformed by the impact of the drop, and the TCP 4 is stressed. Even if the liquid crystal panel 1 is moved in the ± X and Z directions by an impact, the wiring board 5 can be freely moved in the ± X and Z directions, and ± Y.
Since the wiring board 5 is slightly restrained in the direction, the wiring board 5 moves together with the liquid crystal panel and the relative positions of the two do not change, and the TCP 4 is prevented from being broken or the joint is detached. be able to.
