[Problems to be Solved by the Invention] However, in the conventional overhang type blower, the sealing device E is attached from the front side of the casing C, that is, from the front surface of the back wall portion c of the casing C. When removing the seal device E for maintenance, or when replacing the seal material of the seal device E, remove the cap nut F screwed to the suction side cover flange G and the tip of the main shaft B, and then the blade. It is necessary to perform a complicated work of pulling out the vehicle A from the main shaft B, and further, after mounting the sealing device E, it is necessary to mount the impeller A, the cap nut F and the suction side cover flange G again. It has a drawback that it is extremely difficult to attach and detach.

[Operation] According to the present invention, when a plurality of annular cases are axially adjacent to each other in the axial direction and are sequentially loosely fitted to form a segment case portion, each of the annular spaces formed between the adjacent annular cases is formed. The segment seal members divided into a plurality of parts in the circumferential direction are sequentially arranged so as to be externally fitted to the main shaft, and the first elastic member is externally fitted to each segment seal member to hold the divided single parts of the segment seal members in an annular shape. In addition, the segment seal member that is coupled and held in the annular shape is urged toward the adjacent annular case side by the second elastic member to perform a predetermined seal and prevent the leakage of the air blown from the segment seal device. It is possible. When removing the segment seal device or replacing the segment seal member for maintenance,
After removing the metal holding member from the casing and dividing it in the circumferential direction by the work from the back side of the casing, without the need for complicated work such as removing the suction side member such as the cover flange and the impeller from the main shaft,
By pulling out each annular case of the segment case portion from the main shaft, each segment seal member can be easily taken out, and the attachment / detachment work of the segment seal device can be easily performed.

[Advantage of the Invention] As described above, according to the present invention, a plurality of stages of segment seal members are arranged adjacent to each other in the axial direction between the main shaft and the main shaft insertion shaft hole formed in the casing. In addition to the above, the segment seal members and the adjacent annular case among the plurality of annular cases in the axial direction are also elastically sealed, so that an excellent sealing function can be exerted. Moreover, by removing the metal holding member from the casing and dividing it in the circumferential direction by the operation from the back side of the casing, each segment seal member can be easily removed by pulling out each annular case of the segment case portion from the main shaft. Is possible,
When removing the segment seal device or replacing the segment seal member during maintenance, it is possible to perform work only from the back side of the casing without the need for complicated work such as withdrawing the suction side member such as the cover flange and the impeller from the main shaft. The effect is that the workability of attachment / detachment can be greatly improved.
