The elastic rubber sealant described above has the advantage that it can be easily installed even if the joint width varies slightly or the joint shape becomes complicated, but it also has the following problems. is there. In other words, external scaffolding becomes essential, which affects cost and construction period. The quality is likely to vary depending on the skill of the operator. There is a limit to the usable time after the container of the elastic rubber sealant is opened or stirred. The validity period after manufacturing is short. It is easily affected by construction conditions such as temperature and moisture. A curing period is required until the elastic rubber sealant filled in the joint is cured, which affects other processes. The components of the elastic rubber sealant filled in the joint may exude and contaminate the finishing material. If the elastic rubber sealant is exposed, the surface may be contaminated or discolored.

As described above, the seal portions 8a and 8b of the vertical seal member 8 with which the surface 1b of the panel 1 is in contact are elastically deformed uniformly to maintain the contact pressure, and the vertical joint 4 is shielded over the entire length. Seal the outside and the inside. Further, as shown in FIG. 5, the water blocking material 5 provided on the engaging portion 1a of the panel 1 also comes into uniform contact with the respective sealing portions 8a and 8b of the vertical sealing material 8,
The entire cross section of the engaging portion 1a at the end is shielded to seal the outdoor side and the indoor side.

Each of the above-mentioned voids exerts an effect similar to that of a labyrinth, and even when water having a strong force is sprayed on the vertical joints 4, this force is reduced to permeate the seal portion 8b to the indoor side. Can be prevented. The water that has penetrated into the voids flows down along the voids and flows out from the lower end of the guide member 2 to the outdoor side.

Therefore, an external scaffold is not required, and the cost and construction period required for the scaffold can be reduced. Further, variations due to individuality of the worker are less likely to occur, and are less likely to be affected by construction conditions such as weather. Further, since each sealing material is a long molded product, it is easy to handle and can be used without being affected by the length of the panel or the height of the guide member.
