Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify the connection structure of core vent holes and a drain discharge port to facilitate assembling work by providing cylindrical parts communicating with steam discharge core vent holes to the rear surface of a mold main body in a protruding state and covering the groove parts of the top parts thereof with a lid member to use them as the steam discharge grooves communicating with the drain discharge port. CONSTITUTION: After foam molding is performed by utilizing the steam introduced from a steam supply port 14, the steam utilized in heating is discharged to the outside of a mold from steam discharge core vent holes 6. Cylindrical parts 8 having recessed groove parts 7 formed to the top parts thereof are provided to the core vent holes 6 in a protruding state and the groove parts 7 are covered with a lid member 10. Therefore, the steam discharged from the core vent holes 6 is guided to the steam discharge grooves 12 through the cylindrical parts 8. Subsequently, this steam is collectively guided to a communication route 13 vertical at both side parts thereof and further gathered to a lower drain discharge port 11 to be certainly discharged to the outside of the mold.

However, in the conventional foam molding die as described above, as shown in FIG. 3, the exhaust pipe 21 is connected to each core vent hole on the back side of the mold 20, and then the exhaust pipe 21 is connected. It is a structure in which the pipe 22 is connected to the drain discharge port 23, and steam is discharged from the mold to the drain discharge port 23.
There is a problem that the work of connecting the core vent hole and the exhaust pipe 21 is complicated and it takes a long time to assemble, and there is a problem that the piping is complicated and the workability is poor. Further, there is a problem that it is difficult to add or change the core vent holes so as to obtain optimum molding conditions.

The structure thus constructed is similar to the conventional one in that the steam used for heating during foam molding is discharged from the core vent hole to the outside of the mold, and the core vent hole has a concave shape at the top. Since the tubular part with the groove is projected and the groove is covered with a lid to serve as a steam discharge groove leading to the drain discharge port, the steam discharged from the core vent hole can be securely discharged through the steam discharge groove. Will be released out of the mold.

The present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the illustrated embodiments. The drawing shows a foam molding mold for foam-molding an automobile door trim product. In the drawing, 1 is a male mold body that can be contacted and separated, 2 is a female mold body, and 3 and 4 are The master frames 3a and 4a for holding the mold body are back plates for sealing the opening surface of the master frame so as to form a steam chamber. In addition, the male mold body 1 has a core vent hole 5 for supplying steam for introducing steam for heat molding into the molding cavity, and a steam vent used for heat molding outside the mold. A large number of core vent holes 6 for discharging steam are provided, and the configuration described above is basically the same as that of the conventional foam molding die of this type.

The core vent hole 6 for discharging steam is provided with a cylindrical portion 8 having a concave groove portion 7 formed at the top thereof, and the groove portion 7 is covered with a lid 10 via a packing member 9. It is a steam discharge groove 12 communicating with the drain discharge port 11. In the embodiment, the lid 10 has a core vent hole 6 for horizontal steam discharge as shown in FIG.
Is formed so as to be covered with a block, and vertical communication paths 13 are formed on both side parts, and finally communicated with the drain discharge port 11, but in addition, the core vent hole for vertical steam discharge is blocked. Needless to say, the design may be arbitrarily changed, for example, by forming it so as to form a horizontal communication path at the lower end of the cover.

In the above-mentioned structure,
After performing foam molding by a conventional method using the steam introduced from the steam supply port 14 as in the conventional case, the steam used for heating is discharged from the core vent hole 6 for discharging steam to the outside of the mold. The hole 6 is provided with a cylindrical portion 8 having a concave groove portion 7 formed at the top, and the groove portion 7 is covered with a lid 10 to serve as a steam discharge groove 12 leading to the drain discharge port 11. The steam discharged from the hole 6 is the cylindrical portion 8
After being led to the steam discharge groove 12 through the above, and then gathered in the vertical communication paths 13 on both side parts, they are further collected in the drain discharge port 11 at the lower end and discharged from the mold without fail. Further, in the present invention, unlike the conventional one in which the exhaust pipe is connected to each core vent hole, the cylindrical portion 8 communicating with the core vent hole 6 for discharging steam is provided in a protruding manner, so that the location where the foaming state is bad Depending on the core vent hole 6
It is possible to easily add or change the positions, and it is possible to easily set the optimum molding conditions.

As is apparent from the above description, according to the present invention, the connecting structure of the core vent hole and the drain discharge port is extremely simple, and the assembling work can be performed easily and in a short time.
Also, without complicated piping, die manufacturing cost can be significantly reduced and an effective working space can be secured. Furthermore, core vent holes can be easily added or changed so that optimum molding conditions are always met. Is something that can be done. Therefore, the present invention is extremely large in that it contributes to the industrial development as a foam molding mold that has eliminated the conventional problems.
