Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a lead wire manufacturing method to obtain a lead wire whose insulation quality is high in the lead wire manufacturing method to work the lead wire of an electronic part. CONSTITUTION:A manufacturing method is provided in such a way that squeezing work to squeeze an outside diameter is performed by a punch 13 of a squeezing unit 5 so that a lead wire raw material 1 becomes a wedge shape over the whole circumference and next, the vicinity of this squeezing work part is crushed in a prescribed thickness by the same upper die with a crushing lower die 10 of a crushing part 6 and is formed in a flat plate shape and the narrowest part formed in the wedge shape of this press work part is cut by a fixed edge 12 and a movable edge 11 of a cutting unit part 8 and a lead wire 2 is obtained. Therefore, a tip part of the lead wire 2 can be formed in a chamfer shape without generating cutting chips, and quality to insulation of an electronic part round which a conductor is wound while interposing an insulating material between them can be improved.

The method of manufacturing the lead wire according to the present invention will be described below. First, by drawing the lead wire material 1 with the punch 13 of the drawing unit section 5 from the vertical and horizontal directions, the drawing process is performed to narrow the outer diameter so as to form a wedge shape over the entire circumference as shown in FIG. 2B. The lead wire processed product 1A is formed by applying the pressure to the lead wire processed product 1A by the crushing lower mold 10 and the vertically moving crushing upper mold 9 of the crushing unit 6 to obtain the shape of the lead wire processed product 1A. A flat plate having a predetermined thickness is crushed to form a lead wire processed product 1B as shown in FIG. 2C, which is processed by the fixed blade 12 of the cutting unit 8 and the movable blade 11 which moves up and down. As shown in FIG. 2 (d), the product 1B is drawn and cut at the narrowest width, which is a wedge-shaped part.

Further, all the lead wire feeding here is performed by the feeding unit section 7. If the lead wire is processed using such a method, the lead wire 2 cut by the fixed blade 12 and the movable blade 11 in the cutting unit portion 8 will be described.
2D has a chamfered shape as shown in FIG. 2D, the lead wire 2 and the conductor 14 are joined to each other as shown in FIG. 3 and wound around the insulator 15. The stress at the cutting edge can be reduced.

Therefore, by adding the drawing unit portion 5 to the conventional lead wire processing step, the tip end of the lead wire 2 can be chamfered without generating cutting waste, and the cutting waste during winding. It is possible to improve the quality by eliminating the damage of the insulator due to the entrainment and the stress concentration.

As described above, in the method of manufacturing a lead wire according to the present invention, a part of a round bar-shaped lead wire material is subjected to a drawing process in which the outer diameter is narrowed down so as to form a wedge shape over the entire circumference. By rolling and cutting, the connecting part of the lead wire with the conductor becomes chamfered, so stress concentration is softened, damage to the insulator is eliminated, and cutting waste is not entrained during winding to improve quality. Is something that can be done.
