Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a cover opening/closing device providing high safety, in which the cover for a cassette tape port is not opened even though it is pushed when a VTR part only is removed from the product. CONSTITUTION:When the VTR chassis is removed, a protrusion 4 of a cam 5 being pressed by a spring 7 is projected to interrupt the turning of the dustproof cover 2. When the VTR chassis is installed, the cam 5 is pushed down and the protrusion become dented to enable the turning of the dustproof cover 2.
