【特許請求の範囲】[Claims] 【請求項1】電動送風機,集塵部とを有する掃除機本体
と,該掃除機本体に接続されるホースと,該ホースに接
続される延長管と,該延長管に接続される吸口とを有す
る電気掃除機であって、 前記掃除機本体は、その外郭を形成するシタケースと,
該シタケースに形成される前記集塵部の上部を覆う蓋体
と,該蓋体の内側であって該蓋体外周と略平行に突設さ
れた気密保持リブと,前記蓋体閉成時に前記気密保持リ
ブと圧接されるとともに前記シタケースと蓋体との気密
を保持するためにシタケース上部に取り付けられた集塵
室パッキンとを有し、 前記蓋体閉成時には、前記シタケース上部外周壁の少な
くとも一部が、前記蓋体外周と前記気密保持リブとの間
の空間に突出し、かつ、前記シタケース上部外周壁の少
なくとも一部上端が前記気密保持リブの下端よりも上方
に位置することを特徴とする電気掃除機。
