Abstract

PURPOSE: To melt and remove the oxide and to secure the service life of a refractory by inserting a high temp. gas burner into a ladle and executing precession. CONSTITUTION: So sufficiently long high temp. gas burner 30 as to reach the bottom of the ladle 50 is inserted into the ladle 50. Ignition is executed to the burner 30 and the precession is executed to the burner 30 by driving burner swinging mechanism. The tip of the burner 20 is swung and the circular movement is executed to melt the stuck material of metal, slag, etc., around a pouring nozzle of the ladle 50. Even if the inner part of the ladle is low temp., since the ignition is executed by supplying fuel, this operation can be performed in no problem. Further, the oxide which is not expected to oxidizing reaction, can be melted. Then, since the production of FeO is not accompanied, the service life of the refractory is not shortened. Since the procession is executed to the burner 30 even if the flame of the burner 30 is small, the surrounding of the pouring nozzle can uniformly be heated.

2. Description of the Related Art In a ladle for transporting molten steel, slag and metal are attached to a refractory lining. These deposits are removed in a timely manner during the ladle maintenance process. As ladle maintenance technology,
For example, Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 4-113153 is known. In this technique, an oxygen pipe is inserted into a ladle, pure oxygen is blown from the oxygen pipe to the deposit, and the deposit is oxidized and burned. That is, Fe is melted by the reaction of Fe + 1 / 2O 2 = FeO.

However, the life of the refractory is shortened because FeO produced by the above reaction damages the refractory. Further, among the deposits, Noro is an oxide having a low Fe content or zero, and the above oxidation reaction cannot be expected. That is, although the above technique is effective for bullion, it is poor for Noro. And even with pure oxygen, a fire species is necessary, and this fire species is generally obtained from a refractory material in a red hot state. That is, the work becomes difficult when the temperature of the ladle becomes low.

[Function] The deposits such as noro and metal attached to the ladle are melted and removed by the high temperature gas burner which receives the supply of gas, oxygen and air to generate a high temperature flame. Since the hot gas burner melts the deposits with heat, the degree to which the refractory is damaged is small,
Noro can be melted, and combustion continues even if the atmosphere is low, so a low temperature ladle can be maintained.

Returning to FIG. 2, the slider 20 is moved by a moving motor 22, a sprocket 23, and a chain 24 in a large stroke in the axial direction (horizontal direction in the drawing) of the horizontal ladle. Then, the high temperature gas burner 3 of the present invention is attached to the slider 20.
0 is held horizontally. This lateral holding structure will be described in detail. The hot gas burner 30 is a sufficiently long pipe burner, and one end (spherical portion 31) of the burner 30 has an eccentric coupling 32.
The burner holder (not shown) holds the position of about 1/4 of the length from the one end to the other end, and the burner holder is hung by the lifting jack 34. Attach the lifting jack 34 to the chain sheave 35.
The burner holder is moved up and down by manually driving the endless chain 36 via. Therefore, the high temperature gas burner 30 can arbitrarily change the inclination angle from the position of the solid line to the position of the imaginary line with the spherical portion 31 as the starting point. 37 is a balance weight.

And a oxidant gas supply port 30b for supplying a high temperature flame to the burner tip 30c. Since the flame is hot, it is desirable to cool the burner tip 30c with water. Slider 20
A motor 41 with a speed reducer, a bearing base 42, 42, and an eccentric coupling support shaft 43, which constitute the burner turning mechanism 40, are provided on the upper side.
Is provided to rotate the eccentric coupling 32 via the sprocket 44, the chain 45 and the sprocket 46.

FIG. 5 is a sectional view of the eccentric coupling according to the present invention. The eccentric coupling 32 has a flange 32a on the side of the eccentric coupling support shaft 43, a coupling 32c having a spherical recess 32b, and a bolt 32d. ... indicates a plurality, and the same applies to the following), and the eccentric amount is "d" in the figure, but the bolts 32d are loosened and the push bolts 32f are twisted toward the forward side to push the push bolts 32g. The amount of eccentricity can be increased from “d” by twisting the backward direction. Further, by twisting the push bolt 32f backward and twisting the push bolt 32g forward, the eccentricity can be reduced from "d". After adjusting the eccentricity in this way, the bolts 32d ... may be tightened.

Returning to FIG. 4, the eccentric coupling support shaft 43.
By rotating the eccentric coupling 32 by rotating
The high temperature gas burner 30 rubs the tip 32c of the burner 30 around the lifting jack 34. That is, the burner swivel mechanism 40 does not rotate the high temperature gas burner 30 itself, but makes the tip 32c of the burner 30 rub through. Therefore, even if the burner flame is small, it is possible to uniformly heat a wide range, and in particular,
The surroundings of the pouring nozzle at the bottom of the ladle described later can be heated uniformly.

The operation of the ladle maintenance device described above will be described below. In FIG. 1, with the slider 20 held on the left half of the horizontal swivel frame 15 and with the axis of the high temperature gas burner 30 facing the front-back direction, the carriage 10 is moved in the front-back direction to move the ladle. Face 50. The carriage 10 is stopped, the horizontal swivel frame 15 is horizontally swung by 90 ° as shown by the arrow, the hot gas burner 30 faces the ladle 50, and the hot gas burner 30 is deeply inserted into the ladle 50 as shown by the arrow. FIG. 6 is a diagram for explaining the operation of the main part of the ladle maintenance device according to the present invention, in which the hot gas burner 30 is inserted through the small hole 63 of the pot lid 55 and the tip 30c of the burner ladle 50 is inserted.
It faces the pouring nozzle 65 at the bottom of the. And burner 30
And burner 30 is rubbed. Then, the tip 30c of the burner 30 shown by the solid line swings to the position of the imaginary line and makes a circular motion, and as a result, the deposit 66 such as the metal or the slag around the pouring nozzle 65 is melted.

The high temperature gas burner 30 can be ignited (ignited) at any time by providing a pilot burner (not shown). Therefore, the ignition timing is arbitrary. Further, since it is a gas burner, the combustion is continued regardless of the temperature of the atmosphere. Therefore, even if the temperature inside the ladle 50 is low, the above-mentioned ladle maintenance work can be performed.

The present invention has the following effects due to the above configuration. The ladle maintenance device according to claim 1 is provided with a hot gas burner whose tip is long enough to reach the bottom of the horizontal ladle.
Ignition and combustion can be performed without problems even if the temperature inside the ladle is low, and even oxides that cannot be expected to undergo oxidation reactions can be melted. In addition, FeO is not generated, which may shorten the life of the refractory material. Absent. Since the burner swirl mechanism for rubbing the high-temperature gas burner is provided, even if the flame of the burner is small, the periphery of the pouring nozzle can be heated uniformly, so that the diameter of the high-temperature gas burner can be reduced.

In the ladle maintenance device according to the second aspect of the present invention, the hot gas burner has a sufficiently long tip extending horizontally to the bottom of the ladle, a burner swivel mechanism for making a rubbing motion of the hot gas burner, and a mechanism for disassembling slag adhering to the ladle. And a porous plug push-out mechanism that pushes out the porous plug at the bottom of the ladle, so the high temperature gas burner melts and removes the metal and oxides around the pouring nozzle and the ladle by the dismantling mechanism. It is preferable that the attached slag can be disassembled and the porous plug can be pushed out by the porous plug pushing mechanism, and various maintenance work can be performed by one ladle maintenance device.
