Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily manufacture impellers for fluid and control rotation speed by fixing several elastic boards to a rotary shaft, pulling the ends thereof by a metal wire so as to give a twist, and using the boards as impellers of a rotating fluid machinery. CONSTITUTION: An elastic board 1 is fixed to a rotary shaft 5, metal wire supporting points of respective tips are tensed by metal wires 2 so as to give twists to the boards 1. Each board is rotated in the direction of an arrow B. When the flow of fluid in an arrow A is increased, the rotation speed of the rotary shaft 5 is also made fast. When the rotation speed of the rotary shaft 5 is made fast, each weight 3 which is installed on the intermediate position of the metal wire 2 is moved in the direction of an arrow C by centrifugal force. The twist of the board 1 of the elastic body is enlarged by this force so as to reduce the rotation speed.
