Abstract

PURPOSE: To keep water drops from flying even with a higher air velocity by housing two filter media formed of a fiber material into a frame body so that a space part is produced between the filter media. Two single eliminators each thus obtained are bound successively in two levels, upper and lower, to be set within an air conditioning equipment. During the operating of the air conditioning equipment, when a mist sprayed from a humidifier C passes through the first and second filter media 1 and 1 of the eliminators on an air flow, the filter media 1 and 1 trap moisture which is not absorbed by the air. Fine water sprayed is condensed into water drops when hitting the first filter medium 1. 上の風速の場合には風圧によって濾材の繊維を伝って濾
材Aの風下側の面迄吹き寄せられた水滴が風圧によって
飛散し、水濡れ事故を起こすという不都合が生じ、濾材
の厚みを厚くすれば空気抵抗が大きくなって圧力損失の
影響の方が強くなり、空気処理能力や熱交換効率を高め
るために風速を一定速度以上上げることができないとい
う問題点があった。

を第二濾材と称する。図中、25は、外周枠21と仕切
